Chapter 2, Untold Feelings

Here, I've done a time skip because, I'm writing is and I want to do a time skip.

(Kai's point of view)

Thank god it was lunch time. It was the one time I got where I'm not being pestered by my friends about this stupid dare. I was walking into the lunchroom to get my lunch, cuz what else am I going in there for, when I ran into somebody.

"Hey!" I shouted. "Watch where you're going!"

"I-I'm s-so sorry, i-it was a-all my fa-fault. Please f-forgive me," replied the boy.

"Whatever, just watch it next time. And hey," I said.

"Y-yeah?" Asked the boy.

"I'm sorry I shouted. I shouldn't have done that. I can be a hot-head at times. But hey, are you alright?" I asked, looking at the boy. He seemed very familiar.

"Y-yes I'm f-fine," the boy replied frantically, like he was afraid of something. "Have a n-nice day." And with that, the boy just ran off.

"I don't think that kid was fine," I said quietly to myself. "But why did he look so familiar?" I never grabbed my lunch, instead, I went to follow the boy to see why he was so scared.

(Lloyd's point of view)

Ohhhhhhh man. That was too close. What if Morro saw? What would he say? What would he do? I hope that he didn't see that little encounter because if he did, I'm toast. I began to run towards the back of the school, where I was supposed to meet him. Morro was leaning against the side of the school, his foot behind him against the wall.

"Lloyd!" Morro shouted. "Where have been?!"

"S-sorry," I replied quickly. "I had a little bit of an incident when I was leaving the room."

"Oh, what kind of "incident"?" He asked.

"Someone r-ran into me a-as I was leaving," I said.

Anger flashed in Morro's eyes. He walked over to Lloyd and sucker punched him, causing blood to run down Lloyd's face. Lloyd tried to cover up his face from another blow, only to find out that Morro had another place in mind to punch. And that place was Lloyd's stomach. Morro laughed as Lloyd bent over in pain, the blood from his nose fell onto the ground. Kai ran in front of Lloyd as Morro came closer to kick Lloyd in the stomach. Kai took the blow, only getting kicked in the shin, causing only minor pain.

"What do you think you're doing, beating up someone weaker than you?" Kai asked, helping Lloyd up off the ground.

"I'm doing what I please hot-head. So get out of here and I'll pretend you never touched my boy," Morro replied, cracking his knuckles.

"Like I'm going to let you bully me around just like you do this kid. No, it's on. Me verses you, fist to fist. Last one standing is the winner," Kai said smiling, thinking he had the upper hand.

"Fine, it's your funeral pal," Morro said laughing at himself, knowing he had the upper hand with his switchblade he had in his pocket.

"P-please Morro, don't do this," Lloyd pleaded.

"Stay out of it twerp," Morro snapped.

Kai got ready to fight as Morro reached into his pocket, feeling his switchblade. Kai cracked his knuckles as a crowd of people began to format around the three of them. Lloyd tried to stay out of the fight between the boys as much as possible.

"Fight, fight, fight, fight!" Shouted the crowd repeatedly.

"Come at me pretty boy!" Morro shouted.

"I'm already ready for ya, so you come at me creeper!" Kai shouted, laughing quietly at himself.

Morro almost grabbed his switchblade, but decided not to when Kai lunged forward at him. Morro dogged Kai's blow, getting an upper hand and punched Kai in the side. Both were evenly matched with their fists, but Morro had enough.

"Enough child's play!" Morro shouted. "Let's bring the a little to adults play," he said, grabbing his switchblade.

"Hey man," Kai said. "I said fist to fist fight, not fist to blade fight."

"To bad," Morro said, lunging forward, hitting Kai with the blade in the arm.

Kai cried out in pain as the blade pierced his skin. Morro pulled his blade back out of Kai's skin, letting the blood run down like a river. Lloyd looked both scared and worried about what may come to this fight. Kai also had a worried look on his face because of the blade that had come into view. Kai had a little secret weapon of his own, but did he dare to show it in front f the crowd that had gathered? Kai had made a promise to his parents not to alow his secret to show. But this was a situation that may need to turn up the heat.

Kai looked down for a second, then brought his fist of flame up into view. Kai had a secret elemental power of fire. Lloyd almost instantly blushed, seeing the flame on the boys hands and not showing the slightest amount of pain. The crowd gasped in union, as Morro stopped dead in his tracks, afraid of being set alight.

"So, you don't stop when I told you to before the fight. And now that I've shown what I can do, you stop fighting. What's up with that?" Kai asked, putting the flame out.

Lloyd mumbled to himself, "We both have elemental powers. I guess hanging around this guy may not be such a bad idea."

Kai laughed, "So, Morro, are you going to stop when I tell you to now?"

Morro nodded his head quickly. "Y-yeah just don't burn me," he said with a panicked voice.

"Good," Kai said with a smile.

Some of the girls in the crowd shouted, "He's called a 'hot-head', but I never thought that he as literally hot!"

"I call dibs!" One girl shouted.

"No way he's mine!" Shouted another.

Lloyd grabbed Kai by the arm and pulled him inside the school through a nearby door.

"You know, you didn't have do that," Lloyd said quietly.

"I know, but I still wanted to," Kai said, blushing slightly.

Kai took a step closer to Lloyd and placed his hand one the back of Lloyd's neck, pulling him closer to Kai. Lloyd blushed madly, that's when Morro busted through the same doors Kai and Lloyd came through. Kai and Lloyd's faces were only inches away from one another.

"Lloyd!" Morro shouted. "You're in such deep shit!"

Sorry guys about how this chapter ended, but I couldn't help it. And about Morro swearing, it may happen again, so if don't like the characters swearing, just replace the word with something else in your mind.
