CHAPTER ONE
Everyone says I'm lucky, I was the valedictorian when I graduated, I got into an amazing university and for a degree in photography and now I'm being offered to photograph for the Shawn Mendes whilst he's on tour. Of course I've said yes. I'm sitting outside an office waiting to be called in to meet Shawn and his manager.
"Hey Jess you can come in now," says Shawns Manager.
I sit down in a comfy chair opposite Shawn and the empty chair next to him which obviously belongs to his manager. After a short talk, they hand me a contract which I read and sign.
"Shawn could you please walk Jess out?" asks his manager as he sifts through another pile of paper. Shawn gets up and starts walking to the door, I follow keeping my distance.
"You know you can walk with me," he says looking back at me. He slows his pace until I catch up with him.
"Sorry if rob came across a bit stiff, he's actually a really great guy he's just really busy planning and stuff,' he says. I'm normally the most cool and collected person known to man but when your walking with the guy who was your phone background three years ago it's hard to keep your cool.
"Yeah I get it.... how am I going to get any details on well anything? No one has my contact details," I say. Shawn pulls his phone out of his back pocket and hands it to me, the contacts open. I put in my number and hand him mine so he can put in his. We reach the door when he hands my phone back.
"I'll see you in a month," he says smiling and opening the door for me. I smile back and walk outside. As soon as the door closes behind me I let our a huge sigh, finally I can scream and not be judged for fan girling.
