(11) Romeo's Movin' In

Avalon and I were still sitting on the couch, when Romeo entered. We turned around

"What are you doing here? I thought you live with a family" Avalon said

"I'm moving in" He said

"You are??" She had a smile on her face

"I am" He answered

Avalon jumped up and hugged him. He was taller than her. At least one of her parents is. She definitely got the height from her father's side of the family. Everyone in my family was short till average. She let go of him

"I'm going to check on my kids" She said and superspeeded off

Romeo and I went upstairs to get him settled in. I helped him unpack and we put the pictures of us we made in England up. Soon the room was a couple paradise with black curtains. We still had the problem that sunlight makes us weak

We went back downstairs to find Ariana sitting on the couch reading a spell book of Marcel's

"I was wondering, how can you touch that without any pain??" I asked sitting down next to her

"I'm part witch, that's how. It hurts a little but it's bearable" She explained

I smiled at her and watched her, until I decided to cook dinner

A few minutes later Avalon entered the kitchen

"Can I help somehow??" She asked

"Of course" I handed her the recipe and we started cooking together

40 minutes we finished cooking and the whole family stared eating

"That's delicious, what is that??" Melody asked

"An old family recipe" I answered 

Then someone knocked on the door

"I'm getting it" I said and went to the door and opened it "Sophia? What are you doing here?" 

"My parents kicked me out" She explained

"Why?" I was shocked

"For helping vampires"

"Come in!! We still got free rooms" I said, while taking a step aside

She walked in and I took her suitcases and put them in

"We're eating dinner right now" I explained and lead her to dinning room

"Guys, Sophia is moving in too. Her parents kicked her out" I said

"I'm so sorry for that!!" Melody said "Sit down here!!" She pat on the chair next to her

Sophia smiled a little and sat down. I got a plate and cutlery for her and put it down in front of her

"Thanks" She smiled at me

"No prob" I said and sat back down between Romeo and Avalon

We continued eating and after dinner I showed Sophia her room in the basement

"Is that okay for you??" I asked her

"It's perfect!!" She started unpacking and I was about to leave

"WAIT!!" She said loudly and I turned back to her room

She came over to me and hugged me and I hugged her back

"Thank you for being my friend" She said

"Best friend, if you want to" I said

"My best friend" She corrected herself and let go of me

"See you later bestie" I said and left

I smiled

I got my boyfriend, my daughter, my adoptive daughter/descendants, my grandchildren and my best friend and my granddaughter's boyfriend and hopefully soon to be husband

I went back upstairs and into my room and let myself fall on my bed, as Romeo entered

He laid down beside me and kissed my forehead

"Have I told you that I love you today??" He asked with a smile

"You're so cheesy!!" I laughed

"I know!!" 

We laughed and I cuddled myself into his side. I never want this to end 

But who would've thought, someone knocked at the door

"Come in!" I screamed and Stefan appeared

"Debby, can I talk to you, Romeo and Avalon please??" He asked

"Sure" I said "Just tell Avalon to come here" 

He disappeared and came back with Avalon a few seconds later. Avalon said down besides me and Stefan closed the door

"What's up?" Romeo asked

"I'm really old fashion and I thought of this for the past 15 years and I think I'm ready" He took a deep breath "I want to ask for your approval to asked Antala to become my wife" He said

I smiled "I would be happy for you becoming part of this family, so I approve"

He nod and smiled at me

"I think you're a nice guy and you deserve a girl like Antala, so I approve too" Romeo said

"I know you since 99 years, and I'm waiting since for you to asked me that, so of course I approve" Avalon said

"Thank you so much!!" He smiled really big

"I planned to propose when the whole family and Sophia, I guess she's family too, is present" He added

"I think that's a great idea Stefan. Tomorrow we make a trip to Disneyland and you can propose there" I suggested

"That's perfect!!" He said "Avalon and Debby, could you come with me to a jewelry store??" He asked

Avalon and I looked at each other and then back to Stefan "Sure" We said at the same time and got up

I turned to Romeo "When they ask, say I was showing them the grocery store" 

"Got it" Romeo said 

Then Stefan, Avalon and I left and drove to the jewelry store. We entered and Stefan looked at like a thousands of rings before he finds the perfect one. It cost like 5.000$

After it, we went shopping for about 30 minutes

Avalon found some pretty dresses and I found a t-shirt I liked. Stefan didn't buy anything. He's thoughts were all at Antala and the proposal he was planning. Avalon and I paid for the clothes, then we drove back home and put the new clothes into the laundry

I got back to my room and cuddled up next to the sleeping Romeo and smiled. I kissed him on the lips and fell asleep

I'm so excited for tomorrow and I knew Antala was going to say yes. She loves Stefan with all her heart since 100 years. Hello, some people have problems with keeping a relationship alive for a few weeks, months or years. And I knew Antala wants to marry Stefan so badly.

I was so happy for her and I was happy she can't read my thoughts, cuz it was all I could think about and Stefan wanted it to be a surprise, cuz tomorrow is also their anniversary
