The hours dragged on, and Craig never left my side. We sat on the sofa, silently cuddling each other as we watched a movie. I had to talk with him on what was going to happen soon, and he ended the conversation with him saying he'll never leave my side until it's time. Knowing him, this will hurt his heart even more.
"(Y/n)?" Craig's voice suddenly perks up. I hummed in response, too tired to open my mouth. "You'd know I'd give you everything right? Even if it means risking my life," he asks, and I tilt my head in confusion. He then rests his forehead against my own, "You trust me, right?" he questions. What was he trying to get at? I nodded in response, and he smirked lightly, "Then let's get out of here. I'll take you wherever you want. I don't care where, but I want to be with you," My eyes widened as he finished. He wanted to run away from home? With me?
"Craig, what about your family? Friends? School?" I suddenly sit up, taking note that this was a serious situation. Craig shakes his head, "Fuck all of that. My parents really never appreciated me anyway. I'll borrow Token's extra car, don't worry," he smiles, cupping my face in his rather large hands. I place my hands on top of his own, a feeling of uneasiness and adreniline rushing through my veins, "Anywhere?" I whisper to him. He chuckles, "Anywhere you want," he response, kissing my forehead.
I took my time thinking about his suggestion, then grinned, "Well, I'd like to see the big Christmas tree that everyone is talking about," he tilts his head sideways, "Let's go then," he stood up and rushed to the door, slipping on his shoes and jacket. I was startled on how eager he was to take me out, but none the less stood up and got ready as well. He was standing near the door patiently, holding the door open for me. He was such a gentleman, even if he seemed as if he was cold and emotionless. I seemed to break that barrier of ice that he kept cold for so long.
We walked out of the house, Craig locking the door behind us, and walked up the street to Token's house. He explained on the way that he'd have to tell Token about everything, and prayed to god he'd be okay with it. A lot of weird shit happens in South Park, so something this sudden would be normal.

As we arrived, Craig was let through the gates. He bribed the man who was supposed to be guarding it, and was let in instantly. We both walked up to the front door and Craig gently knocked on the door. The door suddenly swung open, and Token stood there. He smiled, "Hey guys. What's up?" he asked, and then frowned. Craig gave off a vibe of sadness, which brought Token's mood down just a bit. He ushered both of us in and closed the door, "Why the hell are you so glum? Did something happen?" Craig pulled him aside silently, nodding in my direction. "Uh... Make yourself comfortable, (Y/n)," Token said before walking off with Craig.
I paid no mind to the conversation, and trusted Craig with what he had to say. I quietly observed Token's house, which was very gorgeous. I knew Token was rich, but I never knew he was this rich. Sure, he was a really good friend. But I heard that others have tried to use him for it. Thst angered me to a high extent.
"She what?!"
I froze on the spot.
"Look, Token. This is hard for me too. I want to spend as much time as possible with her," Craig's voice said, cracking. Token out a sigh, "I want to as well. She's my friend too," he defended. Craig then walked out of the room where he and his best friend were talking, and sighed, "If you want, call Tweek and Clyde. Tell them to come up here," he reasoned, and turned his head head to face me. I blinked, then made my way towards the two. I haven't been this silent for a long time.

Not even ten minutes later, Tweek and Clyde arrive.
"So what did you call us up here for?" Clyde asked, taking off his gloves. Token and Craig glanced at each other for a moment, then Craig sighed, "We've got to talk," he responded, referring to me. I stepped forward, standing in between the two. Tweek was surprisingly calm, and his twitching had eased. Clyde seemed concerned, "About what?" Craig placed a hand on my shoulder, urging me to tell them.
I stood there for a second, then hesitantly went into my jacket pocket, searching for my document. I lift it out and hand it to Clyde, Tweek leaning over his shoulder to take a look. Their faces instantly turned confused, "What's a-all this suppose to b-be?" Tweek stuttered, the paper now in his possession.
"I'm not human. I'm a test subject from a facility somewhere in a small part of Indiana. My... My expiration date is coming up soon, and I wanted to spend it with you guys," I explained. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the paper fly past me. A pair of arms suddenly clasp themselves around my waist, taking note that it was Clyde, "No! You can't die! I've already lost someone close to me, and I don't want to loose any more!" he wailed. I instantly hugged back, "I'm sorry Clyde, Tweek," I apologized.
Tweek had looked as if he had seen a ghost. His face was pale, and he seemed to look sick. "Tweek?" Token called out to him, and Tweek snapped out of his gaze. "That was you? The girl that saved me that one night?" he looked hurt, and Clyde let go of me. I gave him a quick nod, and his gaze went to the floor, "Why didn't you tell me beforehand?" I leaned down to pick the paper up off the floor, and turned towards him, "I'd thought all of you would hate me. Honestly, I was so scared that those doctors would come back and take me away. I'm sorry, Tweek. I really am," I watched as he nodded, signaling me that he understood. "Well, uh, why don't we go to the center of town? The tree is up, finally," Token grinned, trying to brighten the mood. Craig agreed, "Yeah, let's go before it gets too cold," And with that, we were all off.

We finally arrived at the heart of South Park, and I instantly felt happy. The tree was huge, possibly twenty feet up in the air. The lights stood out more than anything, and it hurt to stare for too long. I clung onto Craig's arm, trying not to get lost in the sea of people. Token, Tweek, and Clyde all decided to get hot chocolate from Tweek's cafe, so Craig and I stood outside, waiting for them.
"I haven't seen anything like this before, it's really pretty," I said in all honesty, staring at the star on top. Craig hummed in agreement. I was about to say something, until Clyde popped up, "One hot chocolate for Craig~, and one for the lovely Miss (Y/n)~," He sung, handing each one of us a mug. I shook my head, giving him an apologetic smile, "I can't eat or drink anything, sorry Clyde," and he instantly took it from my hands, "More for me!" he laughed, and I laughed along too.
We stayed outside for a couple of hours, playing Christmas related games and winning $15 dollar gift cards to whatever store was in this town, and made our way back to Tweek's cafe. The shop was empty, considering it was fairly busy a little while ago. We all sat at the table, Clyde mostly doing the talking. "Well, it's nearly Christmas, fuckers! What are we gonna do now?" he laughed. I smile at how silly he was being, and Craig shrugged, "I just want to chill in here. My ass is freezing," he announced, and Token rolled his eyes. Tweek was busy cleaning up the back for his parents.
"As if you're already cold enough," Token shot back. Craig glared at him, taking sip of his hot chocolate. I smile a bit at their conversation, and think to myself, staring out the window. I wish with all my being that things could stay like this, but sometimes, things don't last forever. Friendships end, love ends. Especially life.
And that was just day one.
