After the feud with Bebe, I had noticed that I acted differently towards her. I've never felt such hate for a certain someone in years, and I was highly confused. Why was I feeling this? I have no clue, yet I have the feeling to stay out of her line of sight. Craig had been protective of me for quite some time, but I still don't know why he does. He doesn't have to. He didn't have to do any of this in the first place.
But he chose to do it for a reason, and I respect that.
I had been seated in my homeroom with Craig, sitting close to him. Even if he looks as though he can protect me, I can still protect myself. He just sits there, glaring at everyone that walks by. I didn't pay attention to it, since I didn't want to cause anymore trouble. Yet again, Craig might just cause something with the killer glares he's giving. I took a look around the room, taking in the atmosphere for my new highschool life.
I saw a couple of familiar faces in the corner of the room, and smiled. Token, Clyde, and Tweek. I suspect that they didn't want to be near Craig, since his aura his deadly. I turned around to him, and placed a hand on his shoudler, "You can calm down now... Everyone is in the corners of the room because of your glares..." I say quietly. He turns his head, making eye contact with me, "... Alright." And with that, he calmed down. It was funny how everyone was scared of him. Had he done something in his past?
I sighed, and watched as the teacher, whom looked like a girl, walked in. The odd thing is, she was balding pretty badly. I wasn't the one to judge, so I didn't say anything about it. She was talking with a boy. He looked to be about my age, and had puffy brown hair. He looked as if he was new, but all the students in the classroom rolled their eyes. He turned towards the class, and scanned the room, his eyes landing on me. He then sat in the table right next to me, and turned towards me, "Hey baby, you're new right? It's nice to meet you~. I'm Dylan." He held out his hand, and I scooted a little bit away.
Uncomfortable much?
Dylan just laughed, "I don't bite~. C'mon." He urged, moving closer. I then felt vibrations of someone slamming their fist onto the table in front of me. Craig? "Yeah, well I do. Piss off." He snarled, and the boy backed off. He looked as if he had seen a ghost. "S-sorry Craig! I didn't know she was your girl!" He exclaimed, quickly moving out of his seat to another table. I sigh, "Again?" Craig still had this menacing glare on his face. I flicked his forehead, "Stop looking like you're about to murder someone." I huff, and he heavily sighs, "Sorry." He apologized.
What was up with him?
The teacher cleared her throat, "Now everyone. We have a new student, so please whoever you are please say hello." She announced. She had a masculine voice, and it confused me to no end. I stood up, "Uh... Hi? I'm (Y/n)..." And with that, I sat down. Whispers started to course through the classroom, and I leaned against my hand, listening. I paid no attention to any of them, since they were all pointless conversations.
After a couple of boring hours of class, we finally made it to lunch. And god, did everything smell terrible. Since I really never eat, I just sat there at Craig's table, staring at a plate of food. "Hey (Y/n)? Are you gonna eat?" Clyde asked, his hands full with a drink and a half eaten burger. I shook my head, "No. I'm not feeling hungry." I replied, pushing my tray away from me. He shrugged, "Suit yourself." He said, and stuffed his face with the horrid smelling burger. I thought the food would look good, but I was so wrong in so many ways.
Craig had been very quiet this whole time, and I noticed that he was staring at someone else's table across the room. I realized that one of the boys was laughing at a boy with an orange parka, "Haha! Kenny has nothing to eat again! You're so poor, you can't even afford dirt!" The chubby one chortled. That pluck one of my heart strings, and I instantly felt bad for the boy. I looked over to my untouched plate, and stood up, taking the food in my hands. I watched as Token, Clyde, Tweek, and Craig all turn to me, "Where are you going?" Token asks. I smile, "I'm going to give my food to someone who needs it." I respond, then walk over to the table at which the orange parka boy resides.
Everyone at the table turns their heads to meet my gaze, and I smile. The chubby one groans, "Who invited this bitch over here?" He insulted. I glared, "Fuck off buddy. I'm here to give someone some food, whom you won't even share your food with. So be quiet." I snarled, and a boy with a blue and red hat cracks up along with a boy who has a green hat on. I walk over to the boy with the orange jacket, and set my tray in front of him, "I'm not hungry, so you can eat my food." I smile, and I watch as the boys face turned red.
"Are you sure?" His eyes travel between my chest and my eyes. I nod, "Yup. Eat it okay?" I smile wider, then walk off. I sat back down with my original friends, and Craig turns to me, "What the hell was that for?" He glares. I was taken aback. What did he mean? "I was trying to be generous. He looked hungry." I retorted with the same tone. His facial expression changes instantly, "... Uh..." Was all he said before suddenly standing up. I watched as he walked out the back door of the cafeteria. I raise my eyebrow and shrugged. He seemed pissy today anyway.
Clyde tapped my shoulder, "My word of advice would be; go and talk to him. He seemed like he needed to be comforted in some way." He grinned. I nodded, "Thanks Clyde." Then I made my way to the back of the school. I looked around for a couple of seconds, hoping I would find him, but he was no where to be seen. I walk over to the side of the building and notice smoke rising up into the air. Instantly, I knew it was Craig.
He was facing away from me, so I took the opportunity to stand next to him. I cleared my throat, and he turned around, "You okay?" I ask, and he flicks the butt of the cigarette, the ashes falling to the concrete. He nods, "Yeah. Sorry for... You know, snapping at you. Stan's group isn't the nicest people to be around." He explained. I scoffed, "They all seemed cool, except for the fat one at the table." I replied, and he shook his head, "Why are they not the best to hang around with?" He sighed, "They do stupid shit, and they get in trouble all the time." He threw the cancer stick onto the ground, and smudged it into the ground, putting out the burning embers.
I shrugged, "Well, I'll take your word for granted." I reasoned, and he smirked a bit. "Good." We stayed there for a couple of minutes in comfortable silence, and I leaned over, my head lightly resting on his shoulder. He tensed up a bit, but then leaned his head in mine, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. I blushed, and grabbed at his hand, sliding my fingers through the gaps of his fingers, "Nice weather were having today." I awkwardly say, trying to lighten up the mood. He chuckles, "You dork."
But it's true; I've always been his dork.
