A familiar sound woke me up from my slumber. I opened my eyes to find no sunlight. "How long have I been sleeping ?" I asked myself. This was one of the longest times I have slept in many years. I dont usually get much rest before one of my past's flashback hits me.

The sun had gone, it was night time, midnight to be exact. I peaked out of the cave and found the moon in the middle of the sky. Just then I heard a growling undead sound. "Great zombies !" I mumbled to myself. I blowed the fire out, picked my bag and prepared to leave the cave in darkness.

You might be wondering why I 'live' in a cave. Well I actually don't live there I was just staying. I don't have a permanent home. I keep moving from city to town, town to village. Maybe because I don't get along with the people that live around me or they don't get along with me.

But this time its different. I have promised myself that I will move to a village and stay there and get myself a job. I have promised myself ro start a new life. But little did I know this oath would change my life.

I scrolled through the jungle to find no creatures of the night roaming around.Oh you might be wandering what 'the creatures of the night' are. Well they are creatures controlled by black magic that is released by the moon, which is why they come out at night. Anyways, today was different I didn't see or hear any creature except the one I heard when I was about to leave my cave.

I kept walking for a while until I heard a low growl. I turned around and saw a full sized werewolf with red eyes staring right into my eyes. They are the werewolfs that appear because of dark magic and are not human in any form. Normal human werewolfs don't hurt humans unless they have something against them. I grabbed my amethyst sword and ran with full speed and positioned my sword side ways facing the blade towards the werewolf.

''Ouff" the werewolf pushed me back and dogged my attack. The back of my head slammed at a tree and I fell on my stomach. The pain forced me to stay positioned. I picked my head a little to see the werewolf approaching me. I struggled but my body was numb and my vision was turning blurry. Before I fainted I heard a blade slash into something.

> The next morning <

"Uggh", my head was still hurting and I tried really hard to open my eyes. When I finally managed to open them, I saw a girl a little older than me, she might have an age between a girl and a woman, with blonde hair and elf ears pointing out on both sides of her head.

She was done mixing up something after which she approached me. "Are you alright? Does you head still hurt?". Her voice was so pleasant I could hear it all the time. "Uh, I am fine but where am I ?" I said getting up and sitting on bed with my legs crossed, rubbing the back of my head. ''That's good to hear. You are in Moon Drop, dear." She said while handing me a glass of water. I was about to drink it before I realised she was mixing something in it earlier. I moved it away from mouth. ''Its ok, I mixed a healing potion in it so you can recover faster." Her face was so nice and innocent I had to believe her.

I drank the whole glass. I didn't realise I was that thirsty. I handed the glass back to her and tried to stand up from the bed. I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder and fell back on the bed. "Easy" she said while re adjusting me on the bed. I reached my hand to touch my shoulder. My shoulder was wrapped by a white cloth. "What happened to me ?" I asked looking over my wound. "I dont exactly know what happened but, according to Aiden the werewolf had scratched you." I looked back at her like she had two heads.

I remained silent and thought of what to do about my new wound.

"Dear, what is your name ?" she said breaking the silence. "Amalina. But you can call me Amy." I replied. "I'm Emily and you have a nice name." Her smile was so bright, it lightened up my day. I almost forgot the pain in my shoulder. "I think you should rest for the day. Your shoulder is still healing and you can't use it." I knew I was in no position of arguing with her, so I laid back on my bed and closed my eyes.

I couldn't sleep but I kept my eyes closed. After a while I smelled the most sweet smell. It smelled like fresh berries and a smell of fresh leaves. Whenever I walk through the woods I smell the fresh leaves. So I can assume someone may have entered the room that had gone through the woods. Oh well, I should focus on sleeping.
