Chapter 46: Now to tell mummy

Scarlet’s P.O.V
My eyes open and I see my mum looking in my face worried. I smile at her and tell her that everything is okay and I had the best dream ever. It wasn’t anything to do with what I had earlier.
“Mum, what does Zinged mean?”
“What do you mean hunnie?” She looks at me confusedly
“You know, when you, Zing, with someone.”
“It’s when you instantly know that, that person is your soul mate and you want to be with them until you die.” She replies, looking me in my eyes, “Scarlet did you Zing with someone?”
“Yes mummy, it was amazing. He was the one I saw in my dreams and he said he’d see me soon.”
“You have to be careful Scarlet, people aren’t always what they seem, but I am happy that you have found your soul mate.” My mum smiles
“Thanks mum, and I know I need to be careful.” I hug her tightly then go off to my room, I turn back and ask her what the time is.
“It’s quarter to twelve, go get some rest sweetie, see you in the morning.” She smiles and I go off to my room.
I think to myself, that wasn’t so bad telling mum about Zinging with someone she took it really well, I thought she would be like, ‘you are never going out again because you have a stalker on your back’ or something like that. I walk into my room and notice an envelope on my bed, it’s a red envelope too. I open it and read what’s inside…
