Chapter 8

It's 8:00 am and I am currently reviewing at the library. Inagahan ko talaga para maka upo ako sa favorite spot ko kung saan wala masyadong dumadaan na tao. I need to review kasi sa monday na ang exam. 

I am so engrossed reading the business psychology book when someone sit in front of me. Hindi ko na yon pinansin at pinag patuloy ang pagbabasa.

Half of an hour pass and I can still feel the presence of the person in front of me kaya nag angat ako ng tingin.

Then I saw Josh. He's looking at me with those chinky cold eyes. I really want to ask him kung anong nangyari don sa babae na pina iyak niya but I change my mind 'cause he doesn't know that I'm there at that time.

He gave me a mischievous smile.

nagsalubong ang kilay ko. Kanina pa ito nandito pero he doesn't make a sound.  Creepy. 

"So focus Catelyn" 

I smiled at him and nodded " I need to review. The exam is fast approaching. Ayaw kong mabagsak. How 'bout you? What are you doing here?"I asked

Binalingan niya ang mga libro na nasa gilid niya na puro related sa course nitong chemical engineering. 

I also look at those books. 

"what time is your class?" he asked.

"10:00"I answered.

"don't you mind if ihatid kita?" he smiled but his cold eyes remained the same. "wala namang magagalit diba?"

umiling ako. I also smile at him " sure." wala akong maisip. wala naman akong boyfriend.

"anyway Cate are you available tomorrow?." he again asked.

nagisip ako. Ano kaya ang gusto nitong mangyari? "Well, I'll be at the gym tomorrow for dance troupe's try out. 5:00 pm siguro matatapos."

"mmp... but after that are you free?" he's looking at me intensely.

"so far wala naman. Still don't have plans why?" I awkwardly smile. I can sense kung saan patungo ang usapang ito.

"I want to invite you to a dinner." humalukipkip ito. 

napaawang ang labi ko. Nag-isip ako ng kunti." Are you asking me for a date?"

He chuckled a little. "well ikaw kung ano ang gusto mong isipin. So is it a yes?"

Mmmm... nagisip ulit ako. Josh is not bad. Gwapo naman ito at may sense kausap. I don't know kung nanliligaw na ito. Maybe I ask him tomorrow. His also a good diversion ng feelings ko for Zeke. 

I smile at him "Okay. Just be sure na mabubusog ako ha. Matakaw akong kumain." I joked around to change the atmosphere ang seryoso kasi nito.
