Kyla POV

I slip on my black Shades and smoothed out my all black dress. It's time to go say the final goodbye to mama! Today is the funeral and Brandon wanted to do it here in the Bahamas. I grabbed the tissue and stuck it into my purse. I slipped Liyah dress on and her black bow head band and left her hair curly. Carlin had on his black suit as well. He grabbed Liyah and we headed towards the limo.

"The Limo's are here, Let's go" Brandon said. We started walking out of the hotel and I seen all the limo cars. Tears started forming and I wiped them.

"Think about what Carlin said , Think about What Carlin said" I mumbled to myself as I entered the limo with the rest of the family.

When we arrived to the church, my eyes landed on the pink and sliver casket Brandon had picked out. i couldn't believe my mama was in there. I faced Carlin and looked at him and he brought me into his chest. I let the tears fall from my face onto his tux. The glasses weren't helping at all.

It was time for the family to walk into the church and everybody lined up. Grandma was the first to enter the building then we all followed suit. The church was crowded and was barely room. When I walked in the church I noticed that the casket was open. I couldn't do it and I turned around but was bumped by Carlin. He shook his head no and grabbed my hand

We sat into the pew on the second row and I just broke down, looking at my mama's lifeless body lay there. I tried to be strong but I just fell into my knees and broke down crying. Carlin was rubbing my back but I didn't want sympathy I just wanted my mama.

When everybody was seated the pastor came in and started preaching from 2 Corinthians 1:3-5. When he was finished our grandma got up and went to the podium.

"I'm here to read a poem for my daughter Angela Williams. An angel lived among us,
A gift from God above. She showered us with kindness .And shared with us her love She cherished every moment With the man who was her life; Walking hand in hand together, Facing life with all its strife. She loved her children dearly, Each one a different way, Nestled close within her heart. Though, now, she's far away. She's gone to live with Jesus. But, she's here with us, today, Smiling down on every one of us, And telling us she's O.K..' Thank you " She said and slowly walked off to her seat. My tears were falling non stop. I couldn't control my self and I just broke down.

Carlin Pov

Kyla was a mess. She cried through out the whole funeral but that's what she needed. No words I say to her could make her feel any better than she's feeling now. Every time somebody went to the podium to speak she would cry harder. Nicole grabbed Liyah from me and directed her head towards Kyla. I nodded and pulled Ky into my chest. She cried harder.

" Why did he take her from me" She cried louder. " I just want my mama! I just him to bring her back to me. I didn't get a chance to say Goodbye Carlin. She's gone! " She cried I rubbed her back and removed her shades. Her eyeliner was running down her face so I wiped it off.

" Baby girl , you mama don't' want you crying like this. Think of all the happy times y'all had together and think about where she at now and multiply the excitement your mom is having. Your mama is fine! She may not be here physically but she's here in spirit. Remember what we talked about." I whispered to her. She calmed down and wiped her face. i kissed her forehead and brought her close to me. I pray she be okay.

Kyla POV
