35. The Grand Finale

Khushi took her turn to introduce Tanvi who entered in the same fashion

Chaayi hai ranginiya
Phir bhi hai betabiyan

Now Manvi sang cause it was Jeevika's turn.

Kyu dhadkta hai dil kyu ye kehta hai dil

The dancers parted to the sides as a bike came rushing on the stage with fireworks flowing from its sides and the girls going gaga over the arrival of their 'dream boy' - Jatin Roy

Aaj ki raat hona hai kya

Barun sang.

And then all 8 of them together sang in chorus

The music subsided but audience kept cheering for their Top 8 who they were seeing together for the last time.
The crowd was giving a tough time to Karan and Nachiket because they had to deliver their lines but the people in the stadium just kept cheering

"Bas bhai bas" Nachiket tried stopping them

Karan had an idea. He wanted to do this long back but then he never had the courage too. His adrenaline was high and the audience too had a surging adrenaline level and he thought of fueling it more.

He pulled Tanvi right in the middle of the stage.

"So, girls out there hold the pieces of your heart as they'll break and fall on the floor any time soon" Karan said while still holding Tanvi's hand. He turned towards him, sat down on one knee fetched for something in his pocket. Tanvi's smile widened and her dimples turned deeper.

He took out a ring from his pocket.
"Ms Tanvi Sood. Everyone was thrown on this Earth with a piece of them in another part of this world. I never knew that my other half would be so beautiful, inside out and would be kept in Chandigarh, away from me for all these years but I'm done staying aloof, away from you. Will you mind sharing your pizzas, rajma chawal, dosa, chilly paneer and all the tasty food with me for the rest of your life?" Karan looked intently at her but she was totally confused

"All this drama just to ask for sharing of food?" Tanvi asked and everyone broke down into peels of laughter. Karan loved her for who she was and didn't mind that super innocent question

"I love you Tanvi" He said again in a simple way and now Tanvi understood.

"OMG!!! GAWWWWDD!!! DJJRJSISIEKKSKAK ... This was so perfect." She took the ring from him without even replying " Oh I'm so sorry I love you too" Karan cupped her one cheek and the love birds were lost in each other

Our ISS contestants left no oppurtunity to tease this 'official couple'

They sang in unison. Karan pushed all of them to backstage.

"Ahem!Ahem!" Nachiket continued teasing him earning a slap on his back from Karan
