(Y/N) opened the door to her home. Her house keys clanged onto a wooden table, and she walked over to her couch, completely exhausted. A week of school had already passed by, and (Y/N) was excited to finally relax over the weekend. She had no homework to finish as of recent, and so far nothing major had been assigned in any of her classes, yet she still felt utterly depleted of energy by the time school ended for the week.

She picked up the remote and kicked off her shoes. The teen turned the television on and decided she'd settle in and watch the news.

(Y/N) sighed.

She felt as though she had returned home to an empty house, not that she had anyone expect, but she had a feeling that something was missing. Well, something was; her parents. She missed them, and even though she knew she would get used to the loneliness like she normally did, she still wished they wouldn't leave so often.

At least she wouldn't be lonely forever. Earlier in the week she, Ayako, and Itsumi had all planned to hang out. They decided they would have a sleepover since they just had, 'so much to talk about', according to Ayako. (Y/N) was fine with the idea, but she asked for it to be at her house since she wasn't very comfortable with leaving the house overnight without anyone at home. Ayako and Itsumi already knew that (Y/N)'s parents left quite often, and they never tried to do anything too rambunctious when it was just (Y/N) around. (Y/N)'s parents were also very trusting and never had a problem with her having friends over as long as they weren't guys, and they didn't do anything too stupid. (Y/N) knew never to violate her parents' trust, not only out of respect and obedience but also out of fear that one slip up may cause her to be babysat like a child.

After a while of sitting down and watching random channels, (Y/N) arose and finally changed into her pajamas and did all of her other regular nightly routines. After entering her room, she picked her phone off her bed, checking to see if anyone had messaged or called her. She saw that she had gotten a missed call from Ayako, and (Y/N) immediately called back, hoping that Ayako hadn't called to cancel.

The phone rang a couple of times.

"Hello?"

(Y/N) could hear the tired voice of Ayako emit from the phone's speaker, and (Y/N) gave a breath of relief.

"Hey, sorry for not answering your call. What did you want to ask about?" (Y/N) inquired her friends as she took a seat on her cozy bed.

"Oh, yeah! I was just double-checking that we're coming over at 3:00, and also if you wanted to go somewhere since we're coming so early for a sleepover."

"Yup, it's three o'clock, and we can definitely go somewhere as long as we can get back by 7:00."

"Okay, sounds cool. I'm kind of tired right now, so we can decide what we'll do tomorrow when we're with Itsumi." Ayako yawned out.

"Yeah, I'm pretty tired too, so we can just talk tomorrow." (Y/N) said with a lazy nod.

"Okay, bye."

"Bye."

(Y/N) put her phone down and turned off all the lights in her house, and walked exhaustingly back to her bedroom. She threw the covers over her body and laid her head down on her soft pillow. She closed her eyes, excited at the prospect of tomorrow.

When (Y/N) opened the door the next day, she wasn't at all surprised to see Ayako standing there. Ayako has a habit of coming a bit early to any sort of hangout or party because she just had to be the first one there. She had a drawstring around her shoulders, which (Y/N) could only assume held Ayako's necessities for the night, and possibly some snacks as well.

"Hey! Can't wait to have so much fun!" Ayako practically squealed her way into the house, and (Y/N) could only give a small chuckle to her actions.

"Hold your horses, we still have to wait for Itsumi." (Y/N) said to the blue-haired teen, and she placed a hand on the girl's shoulder.

So, the two talked about random things that had happened that week, who annoyed them to no end, and other regular things.

Once the doorbell rang for the second time that day, Ayako bolted to the door. Ayako also had a habit of getting very overexcited whenever she got to do anything remotely fun.

"Hey, Itsumi! You ready to party?!" Ayako exclaimed with a bright smile adorning her features.

Itsumi gave a small grin and replied, "Definitely." It was always fun to see Itsumi get excited, even if she didn't necessarily show it in the most extravagant of ways.

(Y/N) walked up behind Ayako, "Hey, Itsumi! Come on in. You can leave your things on the couch." (Y/N) gestured her friend into her abode.

Itsumi places her things next to Ayako's, and all three of the girls went up to (Y/N)'s room.

Once there, Itsumi, who had unfortunately not been informed last night, started the conversation, "So, what's the plan?"

"How about we walk over to the town square, it's not too far from here. We can go eat and do whatever else over there, and when we get back we can watch a scary movie." (Y/N) suggested with hand gestures to emphasize her idea.

"Sounds good," Itsumi replied, and Ayako gave a very enthusiastic nod.

Ayako also chimed in, "Do you guys want to talk first? We have some time to kill before we have to go to the square."

"Yeah, what do you want to talk about?" (Y/N) look at both girls, who looked back at each other with mischievous eyes.

"How about your love life?" Itsumi remarked.

"Yeah, how are you and Keshi doing?" Ayako couldn't help but give an evil smirk.

(Y/N) blushed madly, "You guys don't have to bring that up all of the time you know. We're just friends."

"But you're red!" Itsumi giggled.

"But I guess you're right," Ayako sighed before looking at (Y/N) with a gleam in her eyes, "we should talk about you and those new boys," Ayako said as she gave a suggestive movement of her eyebrows.

(Y/N) gave a confused look, "What do you mean?"
Itsumi also gave a questioning look.

"You aren't serious, right? They all talk to you the most out of any of the girls at school, it's only a matter of time before one of them asks you out."

"They only talk to me because I'm not interested in dating them." (Y/N) replied with an unamused look.

"Well, I'm just saying don't be surprised when you're asked out by one of them," Ayako said defensively as she raised her hands into the air. "That is unless they learn about what a weirdo you are."

(Y/N) pouted in response while the other two girls giggled at her reaction.

Itsumi looked at her phone and then back at her two friends, "We should probably go if we want to do anything fun. The town square is at least 15 minutes from here."

(Y/N) gave a nod in agreement, "Yeah we should get going."

Ayako gave an over-exaggerated sigh and got up from her seat.

The friends soon walked out of the house and went on their way to the town square.
