Charlotte's POV

I rubbed the sweat off my hands onto my pants and exhale. "Finally I'm done." I look around at the new dorm room I just finished. I hung Christmas lights up to hide the ugly walls and at more light. I already unpacked my bags and set all my stuff up.

"Nice." In the doorway stood my new roomate, "I'm Kayla." she set her stuff next to the bed by mine and held her hand out to me. "Charlotte... Oh but you can call me Charlie." we both smiled.

Kayla's black hair framed her tan face and her dark eyes.

My stomach growled and I patted it, "Guess I'm going to go eat if you want to come." I laughed.

She smiled an showed her pearly white "Sure."

We walked out of our room laughing an talking about what classes we are going to take when I ran into a wall. I looked at the wall but it ha a face.

"Sorry" he breathed and his warm body was close to mine with his hands touching my arms. I smiled at his pink lips and tried to sputter out sorry but we both ended up laughing.

"Charlotte come on I'm STARVING" Kayla yelled from down the hallway. "Um I'm Charlotte" I held out my hand and he looked at it for a few seconds then took it, "Luke."

"See you later Luke." I laughed playfully and ran down the hallway to Kayla. She looked at me with a hard face and my smile fell, "Who was that?" she asked.

"Luke..?" I said tilting my head, "You ok?" I added.

"I don't like him." she said while flipping her hair and walked down the stairs with me behind her.

"Are you kidding?" I scoffed "did you see him?!" I imagined his dark brown hair, green eyes, and soft lips.

Kayla shot her head and me and I backed up a few feet, "I. Dont. Like. Him." She grinded through her teeth.

"Ok" I whispered and held my heads in front of me In defense.

We continued walking down the stairs in silence and from there we walked outside to the parking lot. "My car." Kayla spit.

I'm starting to wonder if I should change my moody roommate for a different one.

We drove around in complete silence for a few minutes until we found a place to eat.

It was a cafe called Two Moons. We walked in at a waiter showed us to our seats and gave us a menu.

"Thanks." I smiled at the cute waiter and Kayla stared at me. "What?" I flipped my hand out. "Something wrong?"

Kayla smiled and shrugged her shoulders, "I'm buying what do you want?"

"Uhhh... I don't know I've never been here." I opened the menu and drooled over all the possibilities.
