As the company trudges on through the harsh mountain conditions, the wind picks up. Even though you aren't very deep into the Misty Mountains, it has already started to snow.
"I-It's s-sooo cold," You say, your lips trembling, "I can't feel my cheeks. They've gone completely numb." You shiver uncontrollably.
"Let me fix that, love," Fili holds your face in his hands and kisses you gently, sending a feeling of warmth through your body.
"Better?" He smiles. "No. Still cold. I think you'll have to kiss me again." You say playfully.
You see Fili smirk before leaning down to kiss you again.
"I'm still cold." You smirk, laughing a little, "I think you'll just have to kiss me constantly until we get to Erebor."
"I think I'd be alright with that." Fili laughs, the smirk on his lips becoming more obvious.
He playfully punches your arm. You punch him back. Fili puts a hand on your head and messes up your hair. Your swat at his hand, but miss, due to the blinding amount of hair now strewn across your face. Fili puts his arm around you as you both laugh and continue walking.
