Chapter 7

Your P.O.V.
I paced around my room in my fox form, Pet and Kou were also in their fox form, but sat next to each other and looked at me with curiosity.
"Holy crap.... holy crap..." I kept mumbling, replaying what Travis said in my head.
He has a crush on me?!
WHY WAS I SO OBLIVIOUS?!?
"What's wrong?"'Kou asked tilting his head.
"GET OUTTA HERE KOU PET AND I NEED SOME GIRL TIME!" I suddenly blurted beginning to lung myself at Kou, he yelp as my sharp claw pinned him to the ground by his neck.
"O-ok ok, you coulda gave me a second to run!" Kou growled, I sighed.
"You're right. Sorry sorry." I said claiming myself down and getting off of Kou and releasing his neck.
He rubbed it with his paw then quickly scampered out of the room, I slammed my body against the door making it shut all the way.
"Who stole your bagel?" Pet asked with a little snicker.
"Sh-shut up! Ok, so Travis came over and I gave him cake then we talked he had to go so he went outside I decided it would be a great idea to go in my Fox form and interact with him, I let him put me in his lap and he said he might have a crush in me!" I said gasping for air.
Pet blinked twice, before squealing with joy.
"EEEE!!! Y/n! Do you know what this means?" Pet yelped happily and jumped on top of me, making me fall to the ground with her on my stomach.
"Wh-what?!" I asked really confused.
"He LOVES you!" She squealed.
"You love him back right?!? Oh no no no if you don't then there's gunna be a whole drama thang going on at school! BUT! If you do love him back you guys could be like Romeo and Juliet!!" Squealed Pet full of joy doing action along with her words.
"Wait.. didn't Romeo and Juliet die?" I asked.
"Well...yes. It was a figure of speech! Anyway. So do you over him, do you hate him?" Pet asked hope in her big dark brown eye.
"I...uhhh...ummm... I.. I don't know." I said.
This was 100% true.
I didn't know! He was super sweet and caring and he makes my heart flutter and... his personality is great, DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THOSE EYES MMM!
Oh Irean... do I love him?!?
Could I love a human?
Or maybe he isn't human? What if I made it so he wasn't human? NO.

"You're blushing Y/n!~" Pet hummed with a wide smirk on her Fox face.
I huffed, "So-So what?!" I sat on the ground with my tail swaying back and forth.
"C'moooon!!~ you so love him!" She said with a grin.
"Maybe... but that doesn't mean anything!" I said trying to win the argument but Pets tone of voice and what she said took my by surprise.
"It mans everything Y/n. Love is an emotion that can go off like a bomb at any moment. And if he loves you and you love him, show it Y/n. Reach for him and don't let him go. It's really hard to... let the one you love go and break your heart. So if you do love him, tell him." Pet said almost like she's been in the exact situation.
But... I don't remember having any special person in her life.
"P-Pet..." is all I could muster before pulling her in for a big hug, letting our fox tails intertwine.
"Heh... ahem anyway, I gatta get going. I'm meeting Katelyn for lunch! Cya!" Pet said skipping out of our hug and turning into her human form.
I love him.
I love Travis.

My shaky hands gripped tightly on my bag, and my eyes looked paranoid.
Am I going to tell Travis I love him?!

"I have to meet up with some friends cya!" Kou said running off I to the school.
"Same. Cya Y/n!" Pet said and ran into the school too, leaving me behind.
"Y/n! Hi!" Said the familiar voice of Travis.
"EEK!" I let out a scream because he startled me.
"Oh, sorry! Did I scare you?" He asked, his emerald eyes looking into my E/C eyes.
"Heh, y-yeah.. y-y-you did!" I said with nervous laughter.
Crap, I stuttered!!
"You won't believe this! When I was leaving your house there was a fox! And I actually got to hold it!" Travis said happily.
"O-oh! That's awesome! There's a lot of foxes and w-wild life around my house!" I said trying to act calm.
But at the moment I was mentally ordering and kicking myself in the back.

The corner of my smile twitched a bit, "So uh, I was wondering..." Travis started, making a spark of hope light inside of me.
The hope he will ask me out on a date.
"Do you remember what the science teacher was talking about? I lost my notes." Travis said, making me want to deflate like a balloon.
Any hope died out and turned into ashes.
I tried to make sure my face didn't drop so I kept my twitching smile.
"Y-yeah.. you can borrow my notes..." I said trying not to make nay sadness appear in my tone.
"Thanks! Also, would you like to hang out after school?" He asked.
THE FIRE IS LIT ONCE AGAIN!
My face brightened up, "Yeah! S-sure I'd love to!" I said smiling widely.
"Awesome! Cya later, give me the notes when you see me in the hallway.. thanks!" Travis said and ran off leaving me in a daze.
I do love him.
Let's just hope hanging out will be like a date.. and if not I'll ask him on one.
