Chapter 5

Kou's P.O.V.
My head rested on the palm of my hand.
I was in the middle of class, the weekend felt so short!!
And I got NO sleep last night because Pet stayed up all night practicing fighting skills.
So the fake screams, kept me awake.
My eyes felt heavy, along with my head.
The teacher was talking but, for me nothing came out of her mouth.
My vision became blurry, and my head started heading towards my desk.
And then, blackness.
Pets P.O.V
I was just sitting at my desk not really paying attention.. I chewed on the middle of my pencil with my pointed teeth out.
When I hear a thud.
I turned to the noise.
And there my brother was, face first into the desk snoring like he was at home.
He definitely fell sleep.
My eyes widened as I watched his shirt gain a big long lump..(go with it XD) and the hat he wore that day raised a bit.
HE HAS HIS TAIL AND EARS OUT!!
The teacher walked over to him, everyone crowded him.
I pushed my way to the front of the circle.
"What's this lump in his shirt!?" One girl asked.
I bit the inside of my cheek, trying to think of something.
"He uh! Didn't get any sleep last night because.. uh.. our sister sometimes randomly screams in the middle of the night!" I lied.
Everyone laughed, oh no.. Y/n's gunna kill me..
"Then what's with the lump?" The same girl asked.
"It's a growth?" I said really in a question like tone.
Everyone burst into laughter, "Pet, will you wake your brother up?" The teacher asked me.
I nodded.
Thank IREAN his hair covered where is human ears should be!
Or else they would suspect something..
So I flicked his cheek.
His eyes shot open, while he made a small girlish scream and held where I flicked him.
Everyone laughed and pointed at him.
His face heated up bright red, and soon his tail and ears were gone.
And I think he realized he was surrounded by humans because Kou being Kou he had a nose bleed.
Your P.O.V.
I slammed my locker door shut pressing my books against my chest.
I sighed, thinking back to Travis and I's date.
It was kinda awkward and we were both too shy to talk so we sat in silent while eating.
Corinna left us be, but I could tell she was spying on us.
I was snapped out of my train of thought when I slammed into something.
I fell backwards but caught.
I didn't even realize I shut my eyes until I opened them.
Seeing the familiar pair of emerald green eyes made my face heat up, it made me feel guilty for a crappy date.. but it was my first date ever.
"Uh, th-thanks." I said.
He let out a chuckled and set me on my feet.
"Ready for history?" Travis asked.
I nodded and silently followed him into our class.
We sat at the double desk together and waited for all the seats to be filled in by students.
"Hello class! Today, I'm not going to pick the subject of history we will be learning, YOU ARE!" The teacher said.
A lot of cheers went around, our teacher reached into a hat with all our names and pulled a stick out with one of our names.
I couldn't hear who's name it was, but the dude said "Let's talk about Kitsunes!!" He cheered.
I had a satisfied smirk on my face.
"What do we already know about Kitsunes?" The teacher asked leaning against his desk.
"They are vicious creatures!" A girl squeaked.
"They kill humans for fun!" A guy said.
What., NO WE DONT!
Urgh history is so wrong!
"Kitsunes can turn into foxes, which sneak into your house at night casts horrible spells!" A girl said.
I'm appalled!! Yes we turn into foxes but we don't have MAGIC!
We wouldn't sneak into homes! That's just creepy.
"They lure innocent children into the woods and slit their throat!" A boy said making his finger like a knife and slicing it across his neck but dog no damage of course.
"They can have a human form!" A girl said.
True.. I'm in mine now.
A boy stood up on his desk, "They took over the world! Making human and warewolves their slaves!!!" He said confidently.
I growled under my breath.
And the teacher was smiling, thinking this knowledge their sharing is truthful!
If only they knew!
I held my head in my hands growling louder.
"They have fangs and bite their enemies heads off!!!" A girl added.
No no no no no..
"Right class! It seems you know a lot already about kitsunes.(oki, I didn't actually look any of this up so don't believe it! It's meh story dela with it XD) they were awful creatures but human and warewolves worked together to get rid of them!" The teacher said.
How.DARE HE AGREE WITH THEM!
"I bet their still alive! I see people talking about this all the time on TV!" A boy said.
"They could be!" The teacher said agreeing.
Oh dman right we exist!
"But, if they did exist it would be absolute CHAOS!" The teacher said shaking his head.
What.. how?!
"See like Ultima for warewolves it's like that for Kitsunes, if they bite a humans hand they turn into a fox!" He said.
"And they will be ruling humans over by fear!" The teacher added.
WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!
"So class if you ever see a Kitsunes run away to a guardian, they are extremely dangerous! Got that ki--" I cut him off but quickly standing up, making my chair push back behind me, I slammed my fists on to the table.
"EVERYTHING IS WRONG!" I yelled without thinking.
"KITSUNES ARE NICE BEAUTIFUL CREATURES!!" I yelled.
Everyone was silent and looked at me with curious looks.
So did Travis.. with a hint of interest.
"Y/n! Don't disrupt class and tell lies!" The teacher scolded me.
What!?!
I was raging with anger!!
With my rage I pushed the table in front of me about 1 foot.
I stormed out of the classroom slamming the door shut behind me, tears pricked the corner of my eyes as I ran to the bathroom.
Those LIES and rumours people have about Kitsunes!
It makes me sick!
