Luke's POV

The feeling of your wings being torn off is worst then losing a limb. It's hurts like hell of course, it strips you of your dignity, but worst of all, it places a marker on you. It brings demons to torture you until you give in to Lucifer.

But that's not what's on my mind as I'm falling.

I'm focused on the one I fell for, Charlotte Brooks.

I saved when her Guardian Angel didn't, in other words I broke one of the laws of Heaven. "An angel that is not the Guardian of a mortal, mustn't involve itself in the mortal's life..."

I couldn't help it. I had feelings even though it's impossible for Angels to feel. I gave into the temptation even when I was told that If I fell I wouldn't be able to come back.

At the moment It didn't matter but I'm starting to rethink that while my body is hurdling towards Earth at the speed of light.

When I arrive on Earth, I will have a few powers left over. Strength, speed, and mind reading will still be with me to help fight off Demons.

My skin felt like It was burning off my bones as I fell through the atmosphere. From the ground, I just look like a falling star or a meteorite.

I have no clue where I'm falling but I know it's not the ocean because I see the tops of buildings starting to emerge from clouds.

The grey ground came into view and I braced for impact. When I hit I heard nothing but the ground shake around me. I was laying in a lump on the ground when I started to gain my senses.

I sat up and looked around, I took out a few buildings with my fall. Sirens were going off from cars and people were screaming. I got up quick and ran for cover so people don't see me.

I tripped and stumbled a few times since gravity is different. Finally I reached an alleyway, I Breathed heavily and looked down to see what I was wearing. Absolutely nothing.

Fantastic.

I look around for a place that might have clothes but of course I took that out when I fell.

I looked up and someone was hanging their clothes on a balcony. I jumped twenty feet and landed on the balcony butt naked. I grabbed a grey shirt, some dark jeans and underwear. I began putting them on when I heard a scream. I jumped and looked around and inside the apartment I was stealing from, there was a lady staring at me.

"Uhh.. can I use these?" I pointed to the clothes in my hand and she nodded nervously.

"Thanks" I continue putting on the clothes and she grabbed a broom and opened the glass door. She started speaking Spanish quickly and was hit me with the broom.

"Ok ok.." I put my hands up but she continue to hit me so I jumped. Mid air, I heard the lady scream again and I suddenly realized this isn't normal. I look up at her, "I'm ok!" And gave her a thumbs up.

I walked out the alley and tried I look as confused as the other people on the street as they looked at where I struck the ground.

Sirens from fire trucks, police cars and helicopters were everywhere and they made it impossible to hear anything else. I looked around an saw a billboard that read Heartland University.

That means I'm near Charlotte.
