Zombies, Mazes, Machines and Car Parks!

Start from the beginning

Minutes of standing there like an idiot made me realize this scene was not going to change. Logically, I began mentally brainstorming. The fact that I had landed on confusion, most likely meant I would not be able to move on until I got over my confusion, but how do you do that?

I had began moving, knowing I couldn't simply stand there. I approached my first corner, which then branched off into three different passages. There was no feelings to help me either- I felt empty just like the maze.

I blindly carried on walking, deciding to simply go forward, the never changing walls mocking me.

There was, one thing that fascinated me. Every step I took, almost seemed to give a small, silver glow before fading. Like a child, every step I took I giggled, despite my situation.

An idea suddenly occurred to me. I bounced up and down on the strange, glowing floor, watching as each time it became brighter and brighter until it reminded me of a lamp. I had caught several glimpses, but each direction was identical, nothing more than a maze of walls.

Sadness took over again, and all of a sudden, I saw cracks appear in the floor below me. My eyes barely widened before the black abyss opened, swallowing me whole.

It was strange. I was afraid of heights, and hurtling down at an amazing speed yet I felt at peace, and happy. My body gave in to the feeling, and I lost conciousness just as my body hit the floor. In my last minutes of conciousness, I expected some unbearable pain, or sudden death, yet it was like I was paralysed, unable to move, unable to feel. My eyes were frozen, staring at the bottom of a large, ominous wooden door.

Ok, so like the first one, it's rather short, but mysterious yes? Two more to go ^^ Here we have The Machine Is Never Ever Wrong.

My hand was shaking madly as a large needle pierced my finger, drawing a large blob of blood before dissapearing again, the sound of the machine working it's magic. I stood, glancing around the small confined room as if someone would jump in.

Perhaps it was just my paranoia, my mind playing tricks on me, but I was sure someone has been following me... The feeling of someones eyes on you, has not left me for three, sleep deprived days. I lived on coffee, staring at the doors and windows with a shot gun. No one could be trusted, and no one will be.

I heard the machine - beeping loudly and signalling it was done. I had closed my eyes, and was now too afraid to open them. What if the machine confirmed by idea, or what if I was to die a horrible death? But this is what I had came here for, and the machine would not let me leave until I read it.

My eyes opened hesitantly, and I stared at the small paper slip in my hands. My eyes  watered as I read the words, my shaking hand crushing it. A few tears of frustration trailed down my cheeks. The words from the paper were engraved in my mind... "Loss of blood."

Vague, I know but at least it told me something. Loss of blood could mean anything though... I tried to convince my self it wasn't as bad as it sounded, that I wasn't going to be murdered or caught in a drive by. But it was impossible.

I wiped away the tears and left the machine, the hope I had entered with disappeared completely. I glanced around constantly, practically awaiting my death. Would suicide be easier? But no... The machine said I would die from blood loss, and the Machine is never... Ever... Wrong.

My mind was so wrapped up in angry thoughts, I didn't even notice the bullet lodge it's self in my chest. All I was aware of, was a sharp, unbearable pain that was over with within seconds. However ,I felt death coming. I had collapsed, not that I cared. Black dots danced in my vision mockingly, reminding me this was my fate.

People screamed, cried and ran for help, but I knew it was too late. Part of me, was happy though. Happy I could finally be at peace.

My gaze weakly glanced up at the small, dull grey cubicle yards away, the letters 'Death Machine' printed in bold fonts staring back at me. I wasn't sure whether I was thankful or angry at it, but there was one thing I knew for certain now. Before, it had been a mere assumption. Now?

The machine, was never, ever wrong.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That was The Machine is Never, Ever Wrong. And it's a small entry about a Machine that can tell the way you die, not when, and no specific details. Old age, for example could mean natrual causes or an old person blowing a whole in your head. Lastly, we have Maze of White.

It simply had to be a dream. In front of me, lay an endless maze of walls in pristine white condition, seemingly untouched by even dust. I was almost afraid to glance down, the eerie feeling in my body forced me to, and I jumped slightly.

Where I stood, was nothing but black. Emptiness. I was almost afraid to walk forward in case I would end up falling into the dark abyss. I closed my eyes, fully aware my hands were shaking.

Once I had opened them, the white walls seemed closer. I reached out a hand, tentatively touching one. It seemed cold against my fingers, making me gasp. Not even a smudge lay where my finger had previous been.

The curiosity was overwhelming  - I found my self wandering left, walking and turning at the first corner I saw. Though I hadn't noticed it before, the maze seemed to be aglow for some strange reason, making it stand out in contrast against the black that coated everything else besides the maze it's self.

Another turn, Curiosity turned to fear. I would never get out of this...this Labyrinth! I was trapped, Before me was a dead end I turned to go back, only to see another dead end. My breath increased suddenly.  I paced back and forth, becoming hysteric. Suddenly, where there had not been one previously there was a new turn. I took it without hesitation, running blindly.

Trapped in a maze of white.
