Well, I've now written two more mini contest stories I would like to share with you Wattpad people. As I said last time, your opinions and criticism are welome, as long as you're not out right rude
First up, there's What a whole Whirled Which is a small story based on me, getting sucked into a virtual worled online called Whirled.
Here we go:
To be honest, I'm not sure how any of this happened. I glanced around, met by the familiar furniture of my home room. On the virtual website I happen to be addicted to. Perhaps I am have one of those mad dreams again... I really should go to a doctor about them...
My panicking increased when random, and not connected thoughts began whizzing in my brain. Part of me was excited, perhaps now I could be the person I wished I was, and yet the other part was rocking back and forth, sobbing hysterically. I was torn, this could be a dream, or a nightmare, maybe even both rolled into one.
Whirled - The one website I went on every day that I thoroughly enjoyed. It allowed me to meet people, but the thing I favoured above most was Role playing. Something about being able to be who you want to be, it makes me happy.
Another thought passed my mind, and it froze on that one. 'How on earth did this happen?' my brain asked.
Well, I have no logical answer except for the possibility that I was sucked into a virtual world. However that, would be my first class ticket to the nut house, somewhere I really didn't feel like going. At least not today.
By now, I was pacing around, feeling strange and unreal: Most likely because I was now a 2D pixel avatar. I began wandering if this could possibly get any worse.
How come, whenever someone begins to wander if it;s going to get worse, it always does? In the middle of my pacing, I was now aware of someone visiting my room. Usually, I would greet them, or boot them but it occurred to me that I don't even know how to type now, or in this case speak. I hesitantly opened my mouth.
"Hey." Came out in a thought bubble above my ava- I mean me.God this is going to take some getting used to. I thought to myself. The person soon left, no doubt fed up of my lack of socializing. I resumed pacing. Does this mean I'm trapped? Trapped like in those movies where they can never get out?
Face it, getting trapped in the virtual world of your favourite online game, no matter how fun it seems at first is a nightmare.
What a whole new whirled...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That was the first story, and the second one is slightly darker, though it doesn't have much action in it. Personally, I favour this story so I might attempt to develop this into a book.
Reign of Darkness Is a modern story inwhich a dare goes horribly wrong.
Second story coming right up:
It was supposed to be a game, nothing more than a few laughs. At least that's what we thought. I can still remember my friends idiotic suggestion, and here I stood in the middle of a cemetery in the middle of the night. Foolish really, dared to stand among the dead to see if the legend was true.
The legend in question is an ancient one, passed down every generation to warn them of death and his reign of darkness. It's said, that once: Death ruled these very lands, that he walked upon the very terrain we live on. His reign was full of chaos and bloodshed, not to mention betrayal and backstabbing. So yes, it was not a pleasant time to live in.
