Wrote this poem for one of my favorite authors here on Wattpad -The Dangerous Prince by Nikki Hall. She's an amazing writer. Go check out her stories if you haven't read any of them yet. You won't be disappointed. ;)

Now to the poem......

You were there that night.
With your green orbs charming my soul.
We danced in each other's arms
And exchanged words of interest.
It was all enjoyable in a very weird way
Which was what got me intoxicated
But still....I didn't get your name.

You came to my home in your disguise
And that's when I believe,
Fate had the courtesy to bring you to me.
We shared moments of laughter, love and happiness
And made use of the time we spent together.
Our love grew and became real,
So real, that we couldn't stand the thought of being away from each other.

But one day, the dark truth was revealed.
And your tragic death, paid the bidding price for loving me.
Unintentionally, you took away all the people I loved.
And I became miserably torn between loving and hating you so much.

I wallowed in grief for days and nights, mourning your death and questioning the skies.
I was broken, shattered and felt left behind
For you took the only thing with you that kept me alive.
Little did I know,
It was all apart of the trick.
For your friends saved their King and gave Him new life.
Scared, confused and terrified I was,
For I couldn't come to terms with the one I still loved.

But you told me not to be afraid....
It is really you.
Tell me, how could I?
When I know for sure
Death holds no format whatsoever of return.

Ignorant was I,
About your true born nature
And the burden you bore of your family's torture.
I coward away, from your red-eyed presence
Hurting you with my intentions
But also learning the truth, as your Father had mentioned.

Regret filled my heart for all I had done
And I hope I can make it up to you with my love that's so strong.
Forever by your side, I will be
Ruling and reigning as your Queen.
He was mine, and I was his
The one they called, The Dangerous Prince
