Faulky's Prayer

Dear Papa Jesus,

Thank you po for giving me my Mommy and Daddy because they love me very much and take good care of me and feed me my favorite hotdog and ice cream and send me to school so I can learn how to read and write so I can be a doctor and train engineer someday when I grow up as tall as Daddy.

Thank you po kasi they love each other very much kasi po I always see them kiss and hug and hug and kiss and kiss and hug all the time kahit po nagtatago sila nakikita ko pa rin sila. Thank you po kasi they are always happy kasi po whenever they are inside their bedroom I always hear them laughing.

Ahmmm, sometimes po they make strange noises too pero I know po my Mommy and Daddy are just happy.

Papa Jesus, alam nyo po excited na ko makita ang baby sister ko. Promise po I will be a very good Kuya Faulky to her. I will love her and take good care of her like how Mommy and Daddy love me and take good care of me. Daddy told me we should protect baby girl from boys especially naughty boys until she's forty years old kaya I promise po I will protect her and I will not let bad boys and naughty boys go near her.

Thank you din po for my Tito Ninong Jerald and Tita Ninang Kai kasi po they love me also. Saka po they are both funny they always make me laugh just by looking at their faces. Excited na rin po ako ma-meet ang baby nila, si...si... wait lang po ha, isipin ko po yung name na sinabi sa akin ni Tito Ninong Jerald na ipapangalan nya sa baby nila... hmmm....

Ahhh, alam ko na po! Si Baby Alvin! Kasi daw po favorite ni Tito Ninong Jerald ang Alvin and the Chipmunks. Yung kumanta po ng all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth.

Thank you din po for my classmates and teacher Dianne kasi po they are all nice and kind to me. Di po ako away ng classmates ko all of them are my friends. Lalo na po my bestfriends Primo, Luna and Zia. Lagi po kami nagshe-share ng baon. Si Luna po lagi nya shine-share sa akin cupcake nya kasi daw po ako ang best, best, bestfriend nya.

Thank you din po for my Lolo Tatay and Lola Nanay and Lolo Daddy and Lola Mommy and my Titos and Titas and my cousin Matti and also Yaya Pepe. And mga kasama namin sa drugstore like Tito Kenneth, and mga guards po sa school and sa village saka po sa nagtitinda ng taho and scramble and all the people in the neighborhood.

Ay saka Papa Jesus I pray na sana po bless nyo din mga customers sa drugstore nila Mommy. Sana po wala na fever yung bumili ng Paracetamol kanina. Saka sana po nawala na sinusitis yung bumili ng Neozep kanina. Saka sana po....hmmm... hindi ko pa po alam kung para saan ang condom na binili ng isang Kuya kanina pero sana po successful din ang condom nya.

Papa Jesus I pray po na sana laging healthy and strong sina Mommy and Daddy. Sana po they will not get sick especially po si Mommy kasi po she's pregnant. Pag po nagkasakit sya masa-sad po ako and si Daddy. Saka nagka-cry po si Daddy pag sick si Mommy.

I pray din po laging healthy and strong sila Lolo Daddy and Lola Mommy and Lolo Tatay and Lola Nanay and Titos and Titas and cousin Matti and Tito Ninong Jerald and Tita Ninang Kai and Yaya Pepe. Pati na rin po our pet dog Globie and my goldfishes Pork and Beans and Matti's pet Schrodinger the Cat.

Sana po lagi din healthy and strong sila Junjun and Junjun Junior pati na rin po si Junjun Binay.

Also, sina Dick Gordon and Dick Israel.

I don't know po kung sino sila pero nadinig ko po kasi names nila nung nag-uusap sila Daddy and Tito Ninong Jerald. Maybe friends po nila.

Papa Jesus, gising ka pa po? Pwede po ba humingi pa ng request? I pray po na sana yung pinapakain sa aking vegetables ni Mommy sana po they will taste like hotdog and ice cream too. Sabi po kasi ni Mommy I should eat vegetables so I will be healthy and strong like Daddy, kaya lang po they taste yucky. But I want to make Mommy happy by eating vegetables kaya sana po maging yummy na rin sila like my favorites hotdog and ice cream.

That's all Papa Jesus. Sleepy na po ako. Tomorrow na lang po yung iba. Matulog ka na din po kasi baka po tired ka na din. Goodnight Papa Jesus. I love you too.

"Wala. Happy tears. Happy lang ako kasi our son is God-loving and kind-hearted. We raised him well, Love."

"Ahhh...akala ko umiiyak ka dahil sa haba ng prayer ni Faulky."

"Ikaw talaga!"

"Aray! Love, naman bakit mo kinurot ang burjer ko? But, you're right. Proud ako sa anak natin. Kaya dapat, we should make lots of babies to make this world a better place. Kaya halika na, let's make babies. Gawan natin ng kakambal si baby girl."

"Puro ka talaga kalokohan. Pero teka, bakit nakasama si Junjun Binay sa prayers nya?"

"Ha? Ahh...ehhh... ganyan kasi kabait ang anak mo lahat sinasama sa prayers nya. Kita mo pati nagtitinda ng taho at scramble sinama nya. Kaya halika na Love, babe time na tayo. Bawal sa yo magpuyat kaya umpisahan na natin. The night is still young."

"Saka bakit nasama din sila Dick Gordon at Dick Israel?"

"Ahh...ehh... ano kasi... nadinig siguro kami ni Faulky nung nag-uusap kami ni Je about politics."

"Kelan pa naging politician si Dick Israel?!"

"Ha? Hindi mo ba alam? Naku, ikukwento ko sa yo... after nating mag-babe time. Kaya halika na Love, kanina pa excited ang Dick, este si Junjun. Effective ang prayer ni Faulky. Junjun is always healthy and strong."
