Chapter 2- After School Escapade

The shrill cry I let out engulf the whole woods that I'm positive every flapping animals will have a freaking heart attack for being awaken and fly like their butts are on fire. I was so into shrieking when it was rudely interrupted by a splash.

Oh. A splash.

Frantically, I went over to where he was standing before. What I saw beneath me was a large body of water. Kind of relieved, I released the air I was holding. Well, let's look at the good side. Atleast he didn't land on some pointed rocks or something. The cliff must be atleast 50ft high from down there. Okay that might be a bit exaggerated considering my tinsy bitsy scare of heights, not like deathly scared but it's still there. And this look like 50ft to me! No point arguing.

I shuddered at the idea of jumping. Damn, this is high. Must be some hell of a drop. One wrong move and it'll be one nasty drop. The mere thought of it made me wince. The only time i'll be willing to throw myself in there would be the day before I die. I nooded. Yep. Definitely adding this to my bucket list. Then a thought I should be thinking from the start struck me. Why hasn't he come out yet?

Panicked, I was pacing back and forth willing for him to come out now. Where is he? Please don't tell me he's dead. Did he really commit suicide? Please don't tell me he's dead. Please dont tell me he's dead. Oh God! No. Please don't tell me he's dead!

"Mathias!" no response. Oh my God! Oh my Fracking flap! Where is he? "Mathias!"

I was beyond horrified. I can feel cold sweat starting to form on my forehead. Oh God. Don't do this. Please come out. Please! Please! Please! "Mathias!"

Shit. Shit. Shit.

Blinded by panick, I did the first thing i can think of.

I jumped.
