Chapter 1

Onai rolled in the pile of the crisp autumn leaves, getting his fur dirty without a care in the world.
"Onai! Why are you such a dirty child!" his mother, Adalwolfa snarled.
"Sorry mom, the leaves are addictive to roll in" said Onai carelessly.
His mother sighed and headed towards her den. Before she can get completely inside, two younger pups almost the same age as Onai ran out the den almost hitting Adalwolfa ,chasing each other.
" Excuse you two, don't all have any respect." Adalwolfa complained as she walked slowly inside the den shaking her head.
The two pups Bhangi and Accalia were still chasing each other like it was a hunt.
"Imma get ya Accalia!", Bhangi yelled as he was on Accalia's tail nearly to the point where he could pounce on top of her.
"Sure you can, try!", Accalia yelled back laughing, forcing herself to run a little faster.
Bhangi was getting tired but he never gave up. He came full speed at Accalia, he was getting ready to pounce. As Bhangi ran his paw tripped over a ragged piece of rock, causing him to clumsy fall in the pile of leaves where Onai was.
"Ouch!!", Onai yelped. "Your on my paw!!!".
Bhangi nervously looked at Onai's annoyed face. Onai rolled his eyes and leaped out the leaf pile and shaked the remaining leaves and dirt on his silky brown fur.
"Sorry Onai, me and Accalia were pretending we were hunting. She was the deer and I was of course the ferocious wolf!"Bhangi said with pride. "I have my reasons. I was practicing for real life. Accalia is a really great actor at being a deer. She may actually be one!".
Onai and Bhangi laughed as Accalia walked over looking at the boys with a pissed off face.
"You sure about u being a great ferociousness wolf, you sure slipped pretty bad and failed. Some great wolf you are Bhangi!", Accalia said with sass in her voice flipping her med- length fur.
Onai smirked at Accalia as Bhangi rolled his eyes with embarrassment. 
"Well at least your trying Bhangi, we are almost old enough to hunt with the pack,"Onai said excitedly.
Bhangi and Accalia howled with happiness. These young wolves are almost three years old. At the age of five,they will be able to live on their own terms.
Adalwolfa came out the den with a baby wolf  pup looking annoyed.
"Can you kids keep the noise down! You woke up Akino!," she said while the pup whined.
"Sorry madam Adalwolfa " the three pups all together. "We meant no harm to Akino, we were just excited about turning three." Bhangi said solemnly.
Adalwolfa rolled her eyes and growled." I can't even believe you guys are even turning three. You guys act like ignorant one year olds still." Adalwolfa took her pup back in the cave and began to nurse him.
Bhangi started to snicker a little.
"Adalwolfa has no chill, she is always yelling at just us. Other pups can be loud, but when it comes to us, we can't!" Bhangi complained.  Onai and Accalia agreed with a nod.
Then the three heard loud howls from a distance. The whole wolf pack paid attention to see who it was.
Onai yelped. "Intruders?!".
Accalia laughed. "No silly, its the hunting squad. You need to listen to the voices of them".
All the wolves howled to reply hunting team to see if they brought anything.
The hunters ran happily with a huge moose in their jaws. Adalwolfa was pleased to see her mate Adimar as his shiny, bold fur shook with pride as he approached her.
"How was the hunt babe?" she said muzzling him.
"As always Adalwolfa. It was a great success!"Adimar said with pride. Onai ran over to see his father with a pounce.
"Hey dad!", he said happily nibbling on his ear.
"Onai! How is my growing boy.", Adimar said laughing.
"Great, me and my friends were just talking bout what will happen when we turn three!" Onai smiled.
Adimar nodded and stared a Onai's friends and their families.
"Where is Akino?" he asked Adalwolfa.
Adalwolfa walked to the den and walked out with the pup. Onai smiled at his little brother slightly.
"Akino is perfect.", Adimar whispered in his breath as he muzzled him.
Onai obviously heard his father. Onai smiled sadly and walked over to see his friends and their family members. Bhangi was playing with his dad and his mom as they laughed and heard the stories of Bhangi's fathers hunting stories. Accalia was just hanging out near the river bank.Her parents were busy fighting as always.
Onai walked over to Accalia and smiled as he looked at his reflection.
"So, did your dad have a great time on the hunting spree." ,Onai
asked compassionately.
Accalia smiled slightly and took a sip of water before she spoke.
"I can't even hear his story. My mom and dad are always fighting. At least Adalwolfa and Adimar get along pretty well.".
Onai rolled his eyes and took a sip of water. As he drank a fish swam in his mouth. Onai backed his head out the water as he chocked and threw up the fish from his mouth beside Accalia.
Accalia was impressed that Onai caught something eve though it was a mistake.
"Onai, that's awesome!", Accalia cheered.
"Yea, I guess.".
He smiled at the fish as he was about to show his dad. Then he stopped and gave his fish to Accalia.
"You need this more than I do, your parents may be distracted by the fish instead of what they are fighting about.", he offered with a smile.
Accalia smiled sadly and Onai and decided to accept the gift.
Accalia ran over and showed her parents the gift.
Onai smiled at Accalia and was in complete deep thought. His thoughts were ruined as Bhangi pounced on his back tumbling across the the riverbank.
"Are you serious Bhangi?!" Onai said laughing.
Bhangi smiled and turned at Accalia. "Looks like love is on the air!", he said smirking.
Onai gasped and stared to growl.
"I do not!".
Bhangi laughed and the two boys started playfully fighting. It ended when a girl howl came from a unfamiliar pack. The boys split from the riverbank and whined to their parents. The warriors of the pack growled firecly at the noise and hurled near the riverbank crossing. They were intruders all right.
"All pups get in the den!!! In the den now!!! This is a emergency" Adalwolfa said with panic in her voice.
Bhangi and Onai ran quickly to the den as possible. Accalia ran behind them getting her younger sister, Minda.  Other younger pups hurdled with the three eldest ones as well. Adalwolfa quickly ran over and gave Akino to Onai.
"Here is your brother Onai. Now everyone you are ordered not to move or anything. Try not to make any noise guys ok. We do not want to lose anyone understood." Adalwolfa said concerned. The pack of pups agreed. Suddenly the noises of intruders turned into ferocious deadly growls. Adalwolfa quickly took a huge boulder and placed it on top of the opening of the den.
Onai ,Bhangi, and Accalia were doing there best to keep the other pups quiet.
"Hey guys, we gonna be ok." Accalia said calming the crying and whining pups down over the noise of death outside the den.
Accalia started singing silently a song the pups could ease to. Akino and Minda and some of the younger pups started to quiet down as Accalia sang. Onai sang along with her. Bhangi started as well. They sang quietly as possible so no danger could approach and find them. All of a sudden, peace was in the den and the younger pups drifted off to sleep. Onai, Bhangi, and Accalia listened to the dreadful noises outside the den. After almost an whole hour, the trio went to sleep and the fighting died down.....
