Welcome to Ashton tries to write a short story 101.
Some things you might wanna know:
a) I mention Dido and Aeneas (down below and in the story) a few times, but please know the story is not about them.
They aren't relevant but at the same time aren't irrelevant to the story.
b) The way I wrote this, there's some 'background' you'll need to know, which is:
These characters have known eachother basically all their lives.
c) This is written in third person pov, just fyi.
d) Finally, if Danielle seems a little too dramatic or extreme, there is a reason, which will be explained a little later as well as the abruptness of the story.
