The Arrival And The Fight

The Sun was shining brightly in the sky with clouds slowly passing by. I was inside of my home when suddenly a loud scream from a woman could be heard in the streets of Las Angeles. I looked outside of my window only to see her shivering and pointing to the sky.

I decided to look up and it was then when I saw my true darkest fear. The sky was covered in black with an outline of a huge aircraft. "A spaceship? ", I thought to myself. Nah it couldn't be. But I was then reassured once the aircraft slowly came closer to the Earth.

It came to a stop and smaller spacecrafts flew out of it. They landed on the ground and troops of extraterrestrial beings marched out of it. They had four lips, the top of their heads were as flat as tables with long faces similar to that of a horse.

They marched out with weapons in their hands and started to shoot at everyone. We all ran, grabbed the nearest items that could be used as weapons and started to fight back. I grabbed a frying pan and ran pout swinging.

Sadly many people were falling. There were explosions and gunfire everywhere. So many people were dropping like flies. But me, I was putting up a very good fight with my trusted pan. I smacked the creatures in their faces and stole their fire weapons and shot them. I even used the frying pan as a shield. Eventually the military arrived. Now we were in the midst of a war zone.

So far we were winning this war because, with the military on our side, we killed more than half of these alien troops. During the battle, I heard a loud noise that sounded similar to the sirens that were used I World War 2. I looked up and saw the huge ship open up at the bottom with a massive bomb preparing to leave the ship. These things were really ready to even kill their own men to win.

I immediately ran because I knew it was not going to end well. I ran for the nearest ditch I could find. The bomb had now been released and immediately started to fall. By the time I reached a ditch, I jumped and that was when I heard the bomb explode.
