I woke up lying on the ground while blood streamed from my face. I knew where i was, I just didn't know what happened. I couldn't feel my legs or my arms or anything really. A soft, but shockingly low voice made me jump to my feet.
"Good morning. You look lovely"
My ex girlfriend, Ebony, smirked as she looked at me. I took a few seconds to dwell upon what happened, but my train of thought was cut off by what seemed to be an echo of what I just heard. Her voice sent chills down my spine.
"I said, good morning. You look lovely."
"Good morning", I stuttered as I laid my head back down.
* 3 Months Earlier *
~Ebony's POV~
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'D DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT"
"Ash please-"
"NO, I'M DONE EBONY. Why would you cheat on me?"
"Ash I'm so sorry I-"
He stormed through the door before i could explain myself. I lost him. My sunshine was gone. How could I be so stupid? I thought quietly to myself as I sat on the floor and warm tears rolled down my cheeks. It was over.
