"Hold on I'm waiting for the oven to heat up"
"oh, ok."
Silence rings for a couple of seconds, then Chara speaks.
"how are you holding up?"
"i'm doing good," He frowns.
"how are you really doing?"
"I said that i'm doing go-" He quickly stands up and cuts in.
"fine, go make dinner" He storms to his room, slamming the door. You feel a little guilty, but on the other hand Chara threw a fit like a little kid and you shouldn't feel guilty for that. It's his fault, right? You stand up and go to the kitchen and wait until you hear a beeping sound. You take the chicken and put it in the oven as you put in the temperature and time for the food to cook. You head back to your room and get out your phone, you go to check when the wigs will get here, as you didn't check when you first got them. You go to the site and click 'my orders' you scroll down to see when they will be arriving, in two week, huh, that is longer than you expected and honestly way more than you wanted to wait.
You hear a knock at the door and you open it, seeing a worried Asriel.
"Chara says he's sorry and that he feels horrible for what he did"
"oh, tell him that i accept his apology. Or better yet, he could come over here himself and apologize!" Asriel slightly flinches and sighs, muttering an apology about Chara.
"no no, you don't need to apologize, Asriel. It's Chara's problem not yours." I sigh and push myself past Asriel, i walk to Chara's room and knock on the door, he doesn't answer.
"c'mon Chara, answer." After a couple of silent filled seconds the door slowly creaks open a tad and he peeks out.
"what do you want?"
"I want for you to apologize in person and not through Asriel!"
"Oh. Sorry, there." He quietly closes the door and a click emits from the door handle, he locked the door. You turn around and head for the front door, opening it and yelling, which rang through out the house.
"eat dinner by yourselves! i'm leaving for a while!" You walk out the door and slam it behind you. Your face feels warm and adrenaline bursts pump through your body. You start to walk to the park, the scrapping sound of your shoes hitting the gray concrete and sanding tiny pieces of it off. Soon enough you get to the park, you sprint over to the nearest bench. You sit down besides someone and put your face in your hands. You feel a tapping on your shoulder and look up to see a blonde lady with square and thin glasses.
"Are you ok?" You sigh and shake your head,
"i'm just stressed." The woman smiles and raises her eyebrows
"oh, i know that feeling all too well. What're you stressed out about?"
"Living conditions with two people. Though i've known them my whole life it feels like i'm so far away from them."
"roommate problems are always a hassle, huh?
"heh, i guess so.." After a while of talking with the woman the sun started to set and she expressed that she had to go
"what's your name?"
"Frisk, yours?"
"my name is Erna, it was wonderful to meet you. Maybe i'll see you again around here?"
"oh, about that. I'm not around here often, so may i have your phone number?"
"Are you trying to ask me out" her face looked disgusted "you are a man" your chest feels pained as you try to hold back tears.
