BA BA BA BA BA BA BA BA BA BA B-

I slammed a fist down onto my alarm clock with a groan. I slowly got out of bed and checked the time.

'Thirty minutes till school starts,' I thought to myself, 'I'm good,'

I put on a "fancy" white shirt and a flowy black skirt and some black heels, leaving my hair down. I dressed exactly as I behaved: a good girl.

Little did I know, that would all change...

I looked at my clock again and it said that I only had ten minutes before school started.

"GAHH," I screamed then grabbed my purse and ran downstairs. My mom was already holding out two bags for me: one being my breakfast and the other being my lunch.

"Bye Mom and Dad! Love you both!" I yelled behind me as I started sprinting for school. I could hear them yell "goodbyes" and "I love you toos".

I arrived just on time, but something made me stop.

There was a kid that I didn't recognize standing in front of a long and fancy black limo.

I walked up to the boy. He had golden blonde hair and green eyes that put emeralds to shame.

"Hey," I said with a small wave, effectively getting his attention, "I don't recognize you, are you new? I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng," I introduced, sticking out my hand to him. He gave me a smile and shook my hand.

"I'm Adrien Agreste, you might know my father, G-"

"Gabriel Agreste," I interrupted with a sheepish smile, "I'm a big fan of your father's designs! I actually hope to intern there when I'm older,"

"Oh!" He responded with an exited smile as we walked into the building, "You like designing?"

I nodded while jumping up and down enthusiastically, "It's 'my thing'," I explained passionately. He smiled at me with a look of awe.

"Anyways, here's the class-" I stopped, seeing EVERYONE looking at me and Adrien.

"Room," I finished with a sigh.

"Marinette," Ms. Mendeleiev started, looking at Adrien in curiosity, "I sure hope you have a reason for being late,"

"I do Ms. Mendeleiev," I promised, motioning for Adrien to come in, "I ran into the new kid outside and showed him around,"

She nodded in approval.

"Are you Adrien Agreste?" She inquired, "Mr. Damocles informed me that we would be getting you as a new student,"

"Indeed I am Miss," he replied politely.

"You can sit by Nino, in the front row in front of Marinette," she said while pointing, "Marinette, I'll let you tell Adrien about what we've been doing during class. Alya! Would you mind sharing your notes with Ms. Dupain-Cheng later?" She asked.

"Of course Ms. Mendeleiev," Alya responded with a devious smirk on her face. Oh no...

I lead Adrien to his seat-

Time skip brought to you by Alya shopping Adrinette and me being tired.

I exchanged numbers with Adrien and turned away, running back home and yelling see you tomorrow.

"Phew," I said to myself, "I don't think he saw my blushing,"

I MAY or may not've formed a noticeable crush on Adrien over the time of the day.

My giddiness disappeared as soon as I saw the police cars outside my house.

I dropped my bag, kicked off my shoes, and sprinted for the door.

Past the cars, past the tape, past the officers, and into a man holding a gun, a few feet away from my parents.

As I sunk to the floor the police came in and grabbed the man and dragged him away.

I crawled over to my parents and held their hands. They were still a little warm.

"HELP!" I screeched, "SOMEONE HELP!!!"

People came up in an instant, taking me outside and my parents to ambulances. There was a large crowd outside, mainly consisting of reporters and my classmates.

Alya came rushing to me a wrapped me in a hug. That's when I lost it.

"NO!" I scream over and over again. Alya eventually transferred my to someone else and I just kept crying. I started pounding on their chest in frustration, and they just held me tighter, kissing my head every now and then.

As it gets darker, the only people left are me, Alya, Nino, and whoever's holding me.

"Are you ok?" The person whispers worriedly. I recognize the voice.

"Yes," I answer, not dating to look into Adrien's eyes.

"You guys can go home now," I say coldly. Alya opens her mouth, then closes it, knowing that this isn't the right time.

"Call me if you need anything," she says soothingly, putting her hand on my shoulder and squeezing it.

"Ditto dudette," Nino comments, pulling Alya away gently.

"Adrien wraps me in one more hug then kisses my temple, "they're not the only two less than a call away,"

I nodded, watching them all leave.

I start heading for the door as someone taps my elbow. I turn around to see an older man looking at me with sympathy.

"Here," he says, holding out a box, "come to the Eiffel Tower at 12:34 sharp tomorrow night. Those are your way in,"

I nod numbly and he walks away, hobbling on a walking stick.

I go inside, put on the earrings, and collapse onto my bed, exhausted from all the crying.
