'What?!' I stood there trying to process alla this in

'Sir? I'm sorry to cut you of but we are not sure if the baby made it, there seems to be a liquid inside her interfering with the babies growth also she lost a lot of blood'

'You mean....they might not make it?' Johari said

'Well we are still undergoing some tests but sierra seems to be awake and doing okay'

'Can we see her?' I asked

'Yes but please be sensitive with her and shy away from telling her the news on the baby till we are sure'

'Thanks doc' she walked of and I walked in the room johari ran ahead and hugged sierra, sierra sat in the bed smiling,
