The Date

Chapter 10
(Friday)
Rachel's pov:
"Okay Finny , what do you think ?" I asked my son in my black dress.

"You look pretty mama ." He said .

I smiled and said ,

"Thank you baby. Now Aunt Quinn and Uncle Puck are going to watch you till I get back. But I left money on the table to order some pizza." I told him.

"Okay Rachel we got it just go and have fun." Quinn said as the door bell rang.

I grabbed my purse and gave Finn a kiss ,

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." He told me .

I went down stairs and opened the door to see Jessie standing there .

"Hi." He said .

"Hi." I said smiling .

"You look beautiful." He said .

"Thanks ." I said .

"Ready to go ." He asked me .

"Yeah." I said and we left.

(After dinner)
After dinner we were walking on the ferry boat peer and he said ,

"So you were married before?" He asked me.

"Twice actually, my first husband died after being hit by a bus and my second husband , Finns father , died of heart failure." I said .

"Wow , I'm sorry , that's really sad." He said .

"Yeah but I have Finn now so I don't really get too sad." I said .

"What was his fathers name ?" He asked me.

"Finn Hudson, he was a great man , he taught me a lot." I said .

"Well he was one lucky guy ." He told me .

"No I was the lucky one , he was my person." I said .

"Do you ever think you could fall in love again?" He asked me .

"Oh I don't know I think right now I need to focus on Finny , he doesn't have a dad so he's going to need his mom." I said .

"You know being a single parent is hard but you don't have to do it alone if you don't want too." He said .

Suddenly my pager went off .

"I gotta go to the hospital, there's an emergency." I said .

"Okay let's go." He said and we drove to the hospital.
