Bang. Bang. Bang.
The constant banging on Fayes door hadn't stopped for the past 10 minutes. No voices, no muttering, nothing but banging. The twins were awake and Faye was fed up with it.

'What the hell do You want?' She shouted.
Momentarily, the banging stopped, but only to be continued many minutes later. She knew exactly what whoever it was wanted her to do.

If she wanted to stop the horrible noise then she had to open the door.

One more try, Faye thought, then I'll open it.

'Who is it? If you tell me I'll let you in.' Faye explained.

Faye turned around and looked at her twins who where now crying. They looked terrified. She started to blame herself.

'I've got an idea Faye!' Sammi whispered.

Sammi gave her sister a loving look that nobody could ever resist.

'Okay Sammi, follow the plan and everything should go fine.' The oldest Said to Sammi.

Over in Zayas room, where the lights were out and the only noise (aside from the banging) were Zayas soft snores. The fact that she hadn't woken up yet was worrying her father. She was never normally a heavey sleeper.

Not realising what was going on, Zaya shouted at her family member that was doing all of the banging, telling them to stop. But then she remembered the previous night. All of the memories flooded back. But then she realised, she had forgotten to lock the door.

'Shes awake! FUCKING FINALLY!' Her father shouted to Zaya and the twins mother.
Zaya knew that Fayes mum, Ganzle, would never get involved with any of this. And Zaya knew exactly where she was. As Zaya sat up, she went to run out of her room, but was stopped in her path by her horrible father.

Faye heard the unbearable screaming and instantly knew something was wrong.

'Go, hide in the cupboard,' Faye explained to her younger sisters, 'as soon as I shout go, jump out and lock the door. Follow our plan.'

Faye knew, the twins only being toddlers, that this would be hard for them. She would have to stall her mother.

After slowly unlocking the door and holding the handle, she counted to five in her head.
1, she thought,
2
3
4
5.

She quickly opened and ran out the door.

'GO!' She screamed, holding the door shut from the outside, silence followed.

Zaya mum, Abbi, looked at her in disgust.  The silence was broken by the small click of the lock. Faye smiled, they had done it. Now, it was time for the hard bit.

'Dad, put Zaya down. Zaya, stop trying to escape. You all know the twins are safe.' Faye went on, 'and they won't be coming out any time soon.'

Jack put Zaya down and Zaya sunk to the ground. Zaya eyed Faye. They had to work together for this. There was only two ways this could go, good or bad, there was no in between.

Zaya stood up, punched their dad in the face. He stumbled back, but they had no time to celebrate. Zaya ran over the the other side of the hallway, closest to Faye and the stairs.

Abbi went to grab Faye, but she was too late. Zaya had grabbed Fayes hand and they started to run downstairs. Their plan had worked.
So far.

As the two older sisters soon arrived at their aunts house, they heard giggles from inside. Because it was long past 4am, this was not normal. The younger of the two, knocked slowly. The giggling stopped instantly.

'hello?' an unfamiliar face popped through the door.

'W-who are y-you...' Faye stuttered
