that night..

walking on the street full of lights

they were all there but not that bright

as if they were feeling what i feel

as if sensing the blank space,

with which the air deals

waiting and waiting that's i had to do

may be the time will come soon ,

and i'll break it through

but i'm praying harder,

before this you get the clue

that's when i heard those classical strings high

unconsciously my head jerked to that side,

you were playing violin, smiling at me

making me happier twin, i had ever been

wind said move forward and i did

lights told me you are a Cinderella, i believed 

stars showered the glitters every where,

moon was shouting that's your knight

it was perfect, EVERYTHING

just before the clock struck mid night

violin stopped ,so did he 

few inches away from me,

"I  have found the one" he said in a low exciting voice

you are the one and only "friend" I've got,

you know that right?

before some more words,

a girl from his back came in sight

he was telling me her name,

as if telling me something out of this world

i have to attend his wedding he said,

as if he had all the rights to say those words

i was helpless but to think, is this what felt like dying?

his eyes had all the possible colors without realizing

i was surprised that how good my eyes were at hiding 

he was holding my hand giving me something

and i forgot to look at anything but him

then i saw he was moving, moving away

those lights also cheated,

moon wasn't saying anything now,

the stars were hidden somewhere,

but dark clouds were around some how 

my death licence was still in my hand,

and then for the first time i blinked that night

my vision get blurred , i had to blink again

sky cried that night too

and that night i was informed,

i was Cinderella

"who didn't forget her shoe."
