I begin packing my last bag rubbing my eyes because they were puffy from crying from earlier when island gave me a note wishing she'd come with me but there will be a time when we might be able to see each other again after a month when i get a car. Oh hey i'm Alice i'm 16 and island is my best friend shes also 16 we've been best friends for 10 years well 11 if you count elementary, i'm going to have to tell island i leave today but i wish i could have done it earlier but she wouldn't talk to me knowing she doesn't want to get any closer to me then we already have. Again 11 years is a long time i never knew we'd be together that long but i never knew we'd ever cry this much about if i ever had to leave her if only she knew i liked her a lot more than she knows OH MY GOODNESS i have an idea 

"Mom i'll be right back!!!"

 I run out of my bed room door and outside to her house 3 houses away banging on her door 

"ISLAND!!!!"

 She opens the door quickly from the inside pulling the door open as i accidentally punch her nose from banging on the door so fast

 "Oh gosh, are you okay?"

 "I'll be alright what is it?"

 She said covering her nose rubbing her left eye from crying 

"We have to go to your room for this"

 "Alright,aright"

 We walk up stairs to her room, i greet her mom on the way up stairs and close the door behind me and lock the door. 

"Why'd you lock the door?"

 "Not important right now i had the greatest idea!"

 I say with excitement

 "My mom said i could do anything i want on my last day but who says it has to be my last day" 

"What do you mean?" 

I say with confusion 

"I'm metaphorically saying today doesn't have to be one day together, i say we break the rules and run away together"

 Island gives me a super surprised look and hits her head on her closet door

 "Please tell me i'm dreaming, please tell me i'm dreaming, please tell me-"

 And she keeps doing it i push me on her bed and she shoves her face in her pillow multiple times and then i sit her up on her back

 "Are you serious Alice? do you know how much trouble we could get into?"

 She says both sad and concerned

 "OKAY I GUESS YOU DON'T WANT THE JAPANESE CANDY YOU LOVE SO MUCH!!!!"

 I say loud and proud about to walk out of her room but she stops me with a gasp and i look back to see her face so happy

 "Y-you mean the Japanese candy with the rice sugar wrapper that you can eat?"

 "That's the one!" 

I say with a smirk 

"I'm in i'll pack my stuff see you in an hour!" 

He pushes me out of her room and i hear a bunch of clothes being thrown everywhere i laugh hearing her mumbling and all i hear is

 "YIPPEE!!!!!!!!"

 "That's my island, hehehe"

 I walk to my house waving to her when i leave from her front window and to my house on the left hand side 3 houses away my face turns red blushing loads thinking about what about to happen to night hopefully it goes like i want it too
