Hello, the only readers that still care about this fanfic. This may not technically be a chapter, but I urge you to read, because I will be explaining the context of this story.

As an author I probably should explain the plot and background to this story.

This world that the story is being taken place in is know as "Earth"; the time period is technically the same as the time frame today, but instead of places like "Russia" there is "Akei Me"; another example: like in place of the "United States" the will be "Aoimoku".

Now let me explain: these are names of countries. There are eight different countries:

Akei Me — translated from red eyes
Orenji-iro no me — translated from orange eyes
Kiiro Me — translated from yellow eyes
Midori no me — translated from green eyes
Aoimoku — translated from blue eyes
Murasakime — translated from purple eyes
Pinkuno Me — translated from pink eyes
Buraun Aido — translated from brown eyes

They all translate into different colors. Basically I typed the color "red" into google translate and translated it into Japanese. Cheap right?

So these different countries all have something unique about their people(Like how people look their nationality or they have an accent). These people have their eye colors. So if you have green eyes, people would know that you are either from "Midori No Me" or your parents were. Usually people tend to group with people with the same color eyes they have(kinda like how Asians stick together, and blacks group together). It is common these days so(even though lately there are mixes in some groups).

The main character, Lucy, is a 16 year old girl who has just lost her family and is on the run from ********-! Oops spoilers..! She flees to the country of the blue eyed, "Aoimoku", in search of an old family friend to assist her. Through out the story it goes more into her past and to others pasts as well. She will make many other comrades and will constantly be around a young man named Natsu. Though his eyes are blue he still assists her long through out her journey. I do plan to add a romance between them(but :X that's a secret~).

So in this timeline the red eyed country, "Akei Me", have lots of power, a big army(with powerful generals and such), and are full of bloodlust; on top of that they have an evil dictator pulling the strings. They have taken lands from other countries and have killed many innocents. This causes other countries to either fear or hate them. So for example: if you had red eyes and were visiting the "kiiro Me" country people there would either shiver as you walked past them or even run away if you tried to speak with them; if you were to go to a more rebellious country, like "Aoimoku", you could possibly be attacked or be taken to the government to be interrogated, because "Aoimoku" and "Akei Me" are in a war.

This is a real life example(this wasn't intended to fit so well with this situation): the "war" between North Korea and United States. If a person from the U.S were to show up in South Korea that person could be attacked or possibly killed. Same with the other way around. (I'm not well educated in the matters of what's going on with either country so I apologize if I'm incorrect.)

Just like with races today, people with a certain eye color have stereo types. I'll tell you what different eye colors are more likely to act like(stereo types basically)

Red: Bloodlusted, Rude, Russians(JK LOL LOVE MOTHER RUSSIA TF)
Orange: Cocky, really smart, pretty lewd half the time
Yellow: wanting attention all the time, positive, have you ever seen one cry? Me neither
Green: nice, caring, (Midori Izuku in a nutshell), cinnamon rolls.
Blue: Brave, trustworthy, the definition of an open book
Purple: like darkness more then light, mysterious, problematic emos(but without the makeup and crazy haircuts)
Pink: Beautiful, narcissistic, always smiling even at a funeral
Brown: Boring, quiet, awkward(everyone on wattpad in a nutshell)(everyone here is usually awkward like that, dont lie lol)

I hope this makes sense to those reading.

Through out the story Lucy will meet multiple people with different eye colors that will help her in someway till the end of the story. Just like Fairy Tail there will be lots of characters. But if you've already seen most of Fairy Tail and possibly read the manga then you will know these characters. Don't worry, I won't just throw them all at you at once; they will be introduced through out the story line.

As you may know the actual Lucy has brown eyes, not red. I know but for the sake of the story she will have red eyes; I hope this doesn't turn you off as you read the story. Most of the characters will have different color eyes then what they originally have. And again this is all for the purpose of the plot.
