The day
It's not everyone's cup of tea/coffee
It brings hope to some
They make use of the day
They love the warmth it brings
They like the comfort
And everything in betweenYet to some
The day is dreadful
Some have to wake up early
For different reasons
Eventually we all have to get up
And face reality
And what society has to say
They stereotype each of us
No matter who you are
They find a wayThey constantly judge us
They make you feel alone
They try to make you feel like outsiders
Just because you don't follow the "same guidelines"
That they all follow
They expect everyone to be the same
They don't tolerate change
They will make others
Look at you the same way they see youWhy do we they do this
It makes no sense
At least we have others
The same others
Who are outsiders
They accept us for who we are
They see our potential
They see our true colors
