Living in a small town
It's hard leaving one
Everyone knows one another
The same old boring routine
Nothing really happens
That's why I want to leave
I want to experience new things
I want a change in scenery
I want to go into a bigger city
Possibly leave the state
And understand the people living there
And understand the city itself
I think I'm ready for this
But how can I leave a small town to go to a bigger one
Graduation is coming up soon
I'm not sure if I'm ready to say goodbye yet
But yet I feel that I am ready
Ready for so many opportunities
Ready for new adventures
Ready to meet new people
Probably find new love
Eh, probably shouldn't have my hopes on new love just yet
