We embrace each other, slightly blocking our surroundings. It might be a simple act to other people, but it gives a comforting warmth that'll keep me from the cold. Especially with the person that is encircling me with their arms, making me have a good feeling of purpose.
Your head rests in between where my shoulder and neck meet, while mine lays softly on your head. Small, yet cozy, breaths brushing against my neck...a satisfying touch. Sometimes I wonder if you've fallen in a slumber, or if you just dozed off into the hug like I do.
I have moments when I want to gently kiss your neck, sweetly letting my lips flutter. I want to please you with the love I have for you. To show you how much our simple acts of affection mean to me. I want to caress your hands into mine, and have a slow dance with you until time is gone. I want our chests to be together enough for the both of us to hear each other's heartbeats. To hear how are hearts sing to one another, creating the loveliest melody I've ever heard.
How a hug can affect me so much...it's extraordinary, love.
One hand grasps my cheek, while the other has been accompanied by a small radiant peck. You chuckle with amusement as you see the dusted red in my cheeks, allowing me to smile while you rest our foreheads together. Our eyes closed, valuing each other's presence while a smile appears on our faces.
What a wonderful feeling, it astonishes me that you can make me feel so special.
