Greyson's POV

She sat alone with an oversized Grey sweatshirt and a jean jacket, in the front of the class. Her hair long to her lower back and black like night. She had worn black leggings to cover up her skinny legs. And white converse to top it off. She was far from generic and I liked that, she made me melt and took down my rough edges and she didn't even know it yet.

Suddenly a crumbled piece of paper  was thrown across the room. I grew angry looking for source to see a bunch of jocks laughing. The teacher asleep and not paying attention as it hit her right in the back of her head. She was mad but it wasn't that obvious. She watched as it fell rolling away and sighed. She's quiet and what seems like she has no friends. I can still remember when we were younger and she happy and energetic. She had always carried around a stuff animal Toodles or something. She's changed a lot since we were younger. No more pink dresses and pigtails now she wore dark clothes and needed glasses.

To me she was the definition of perfect.

"Grey."

"Grey my man."

"Greyson!" I snapped out of my thoughts to notice I was starring at her, and to my left was my best friend Zachary. We had grown up brothers.

"Dude what's good, you've been starring at that girl for the last ten minutes, do you even know who she is?" He laughed slightly finding the whole ordeal quite amusing.

"Lacey Matthews." I replied.

"She new bro?" he asked, causing me to turn and smack him upside the head.

"You idiot she's been in the same school as us since pre-k." I retorted.

"and how the hell was I supposed to know to know that?" He rolled his eyes at me. Zac was notorious for his eye roll.

"Remember first grade you pissed yourself dumbass? She was the one who helped you clean up so no one would notice but you just thought she was creepy because she didn't speak." I explained.

"I remember her, but why the fascination with her, you already seemed whipped." He stops talking looking to see if anyone was paying attention and then whispered "what if she gets scared and leaves if you do talk."

He was right but let's be honest my reputation is known. Most people in school or in Los Angeles in general knew who my father was and feared to wrong him or me. While, others wanted my fathers and my money. I was the heir to lead the biggest gang around here, as soon as my father stepped down.

The Silver Dragons.

Zac was my best friend but also my dads right hand mans son. So we grew up around the gang together. He knew the ins and outs and the problems that came with it.

"You call that a lunch?" I question causally as I looked at Zac as he ate a family size bag of lays.

"As if i'd eat the shitty school lunch." He grumbles as his mouth was full with food, causing me to let out low chuckle before noticing Lacey. She was sitting under a tree in the courtyard as she what seemed to be drawing, as her hair covered her face but you could still see the the sun glare off her glasses.

"Dude go talk to her." I turned see Lukas.

He was also going to the one of my right hand men. He was the best shot, even out of the adult Dragons. Next to him eating from a plate of french fries was Damien his twin. They were inseparable. Yet they were fraternal in every way possible. Lukas was blonde as his ocean like eyes shined from his black glasses bright against his freckles, he was energized and never caught without his sinister smile most likely from being up to no good. Meanwhile, Damien was menacing, standing tall as he was buff with dark midnight like hair and grey eyes, he practically radiated danger, although anyone who managed to get to know him knows he's as soft as a big teddy bear. Once you saw their parents you realized that Lukas was a spitting image of their  mom and Damien their dad.

"Deadass Grey, if you don't man up and talk to her I will for you." he exclaimed as his mouth was full and a piece of chewed french fry fell out, standing I got in his face.

"One close your mouth fucker, two don't question my masculinity and don't talk to her you'll scare her off." I growled causing him to back up raising his hand in defeat.

"So are you going to do it?" Lukas question softly not wanting to get punched.

"No, i'm not." I scoffed before sitting back on the crappy high school chairs.

"Bro seriously you'll never date her if you don't try." Lukas said taking the seat next to Zac as Damien sat down besides his brother as well.

"Seriously dude you want her, go get her. Even you know she won't come for you." Zac explained but not before swallowing the chips he had stuff in his mouth.

"look assholes, I'm going to i'm just waiting for the right time." as if on cue the cafeteria door from outside closed with a loud bang  causing Lukas to throw his arm towards his belt which held his holster and laughter erupted amongst the crowd. There on the floor with her books and papers scattered was Lacey.
