NEXT MORNING

'Nihar'A kind of nick name Niharika Kapoor had gotten over the years, a hazel eyed beauty who had won the title of Miss India at the age of twenty, started her career as the top model of lakmè and even acted in one or two ad-films, but her acting/modeling career was cut short due to the continues discouragement and prohibition in the family and finally started her own designing company with it's first and main branch in Paris, second in Rio-de jenario, Brazil and third and last in Mumbai, India, her home town that she established just two years before she died.

'Nihar' a company of millions, that had once held captivated the whole market of indo-china and it's neighbouring countries with it's eye-catching designs along with it's feasibility to the middle class.
Bottom line that it was a hit
Until its actual owner died in the most mysterious of circumstances.
People believe that she committed suicide after her lover, Rajeev Bose(with whom she had a affair) had a second baby with his wife (Alisha Bose) and left Niharika breaking his promise to marry her to go back to his wife that she committed suicide. Although no proof had been found.

And Alisha had the urge to laugh out loud at that.
'Had a second baby with his wife?!'
So they were able to keep out atleast some part of the scandal from the media? That they didn't get to the full extent......that she wasn't the second bonding baby they were referring to....instead she was the one that broke the couple apart forever, that she was the bastard child of the mistress.

Sighing she closed her tab, to put it back into her purse. She doesn't need any more information about that vile and reckless women.
It would have been far-far better if she would have just called her a mistake and aborted her simply.
It would have been so less painful for so many people in so ways.

Niharika kapoor would have been still alive.
The scandal would have ended.
Dia wouldn't need to hurt daily watching her as a living proof of her husband's cheating character.
Surya would have gotten the whole company rather than ending up in a cell for the rest of his life.
Kaveri would not have needed to sacrifice her son's life to protect her!
Aditya wouldn't have gone through all that turmoil for six long years.
And perhaps had his own small family with a beautiful wife and children, who knows?

Only if there hadn't been any Alisha Bose.

But what's the actual point in thinking all this now?
Nothing but self-torture!

***

Soon her car pulled off in front of the building and she stepped down, letting Ravi, her driver to take the rest of the day off, since it was Sunday too and she doesn't actually know when she would be ready to finally go back, she walked on slowly towards the multistoried beautiful building right in the heart of the city.

Her eyes wandered up through the pale blue wall, a colour that have never been so appealing to the eye before with a shining, glossy tinge.
And right in front of the door her steps halted. The large letters, on the banner about twenty floors above caught her eye.
In the deepest shade of maroon, there it was.....

'Caterpillars are beautiful no doubt, but butterflies have wings to fly.
-Nihar'

She knew what it meant and ofcourse who wrote them.

Her mother!

Not knowing what is about to come, she stepped forward entering through the main glass door.
It was mostly empty except a man sitting on a bean bag on the right corner of the large lobby, sipping what Alisha supposed was coffee and a fashion magazine in his other hand, his cat like eyes fixated at some detail on the page.
