I was in the restroom at the hospital, after they told us that she might not make it I had to get away. Laila is literally my life besides my son. I was so mad and sad to top it off I didn't take my medicine.

"Laila I will come check on you later" he kissed her forehead and walked to me

"She is going to live,she can't move or talk she can't even smile but she can see you" he tells me

"Ok" I said as he walked out, I stood for she can see me

She made a weird noise. "Imma bring Adonis tomorrow after school" I tell her, tears started coming down her face

"Baby it's okay,I have to go get Adonis from my mom. I love you" I kissed her cheek.

I was staying the night with Laila,I couldn't believe my baby have been shot.

"Sir I think you should get some rest, your daughter is in good hands" The doctor says.
