What is life without a little drop of depression?
Or in my case, an entire ocean.
Everyday is just like all the others. Get up, go to work, go home, repeat. That's all it is.
Now you might say take a vacation, get out and hang with friends, go see your family.
I could do those things, however, I can't. I have no friends or family. My vacation is my reading.
But then again, my reading doesn't take all of reality away. Only spurts of time is taken away.
It's becoming too much to handle. I need to get away, far away.
My idea was the stars. I hear them speak to me saying that I need to go visit them. And the moon calls my name with a feeling of passion and sadness.
And I told them "I'm on my way."
So I put my bathing suit on and headed to the lake of stars. It's a long walk, but I make it with time to waste, as always.
This is where it all ends. This is my ending.
I walk into the luke warm water and dive in. Coming back up in the middle of the lake and floating upon my back, staring at the stars and moon.
The moon asks me "Are you ready my love?"
I smile with tears in my eyes and reply "Yes my dear. I am ready."
As tears roll out of the corners of my eyes, my soul is taken to the moon and my heart with my body is given to the stars.
We are together now. No longer on earth. No longer with reality. Just the moon, the stars and I.
As it should be. And the moon cries silent tears and smiles with bliss and speaks.
"Sleep In The Stars My Queen."
