Kumain lang kami sa labas.
Hindi naman sya mag comment tungkol kay Vince. Hinatid nya rin ako sa bahay kahit ayaw ko.
"Thank you for picking me up and taking me home." sabi ko nung nasa labas na kami ng gate.
"It's ok. I like to do it. I want to explore the place and familiarize myself here. Who knows, I may come back soon" sagot nya.
Ngumiti ako. "Okay. Take care"
"Can I ask for a favor?" tanong nya.
"Hmm what is it?"
"I want to see you tomorrow before I leave. Will you see me at the airport?" nahihiyang tanong nya.
I find it cute. I nodded. Wala naman akong lakad bukas.
"Okay. I will" sagot ko.
He gave me a nice smile before he left.
Pumasok na ako sa loob. I inserted the key on the doorknob when somebody grabbed my hand.
Napatili ako.
"Hey, hey, easy. Ako lang to" sabi ni Vince.
"Bwisit ka! Muntik na akong atakihin sayo! Ano bang ginagawa mo dito?" singhal ko sa kanya.
"Sungit mo naman. I'm just checking kung anong oras ka ihahatid nung mokong na yun." he crossed his arms.
Binuksan ko ang pinto at pumasok sa loob. "Hindi sya mokong. Ang gentleman nya kaya."
Nakasunod sya sa akin. "So how's your date?"
"Fine. We ate at a nice restaurant." sabi ko.
"That guy should be the nice thing. Not just the resto. Well He looks okay to me. Muka namang hindi loko loko." naupo sya sa sofa.
"I know." tiningnan ko sya. "And why are you here?"
He shrugged his shoulders. "Just checking on you. I'll get going now."
Napakurap ako pagtayo nya. Nasundan ko nalang sya ng tingin habang palabas sya ng pinto.
"Lock the door" bilin nya bago sya lumabas.
I did as he say and went to my room with a wide smile. He cares for me. That's enough for now.

The next day, hinatid ko si Yue sa airport.
"I'll call you when I get to Taiwan" sabi nya. "Thank you for letting me see you today."
Tumango ako. "Take care"
He looked into my eyes "I like you"
I was left speechless. It was so sudden, I didn't saw it coming.
"You may think it's too soon for me to say. But I really liked you since we met" he sighed. "I know you like someone else and it's not like I want you to feel the same way for me. I just thought I should let you know."
Hindi ako makapaniwala sa pinagsasabi nya. "How did you know I like someone?"
"I asked Kelley. She said you like your boss. That's why I went to your office last night." he smiled.
Yung babaeng yun talaga!
"I'll get inside now. Promise, I'll come back next month. I'll see you again" he said.
I nodded. Kumaway sya sa akin bago pumasok sa departure area ng Airport.
I took my phone and called Kelley. This girl need some scolding.
She picked it up.
"Ikaw talaga, maldita kang babae ka." sabi ko upon hearing her hello.
"Well good morning din." she giggled. "Anong atin?"
"Atin atin ka dyan. Anong sinabi mo kay Yue?" tanong ko.
"Oh" she still giggles. "Nagtanong kasi sya. It would be rude not to answer. You know, I'm not a liar.. "
I rolled my eyes. "Kakainis ka. Pati yung feeling ko para kay Vince inireveal mo pa"
"Jusko naman friend, hindi big deal yun. Lahat ng tao alam ang tungkol sa feelings mo na yan. Si Vince nalang ang bukod tanging walang idea. Napakamanhid nya, promise."
That's true. Pero sana isang araw, makita nya rin ako. Sana ako naman.
