Why the hell did I kiss her. Alex can not know about this at least not now.
"Where are you Alex??" I asked to myself.
I drive to Alex's house and walk to the front door and knock.
"Shawn???" Alex's mom said opening the door.
"Yeah I know I'm the last person that you want to see right now but I can't find Alex and I was wondering if you hanve an idea where she could have go" I said
"What do you mean with you can't find her?!?!?" She asked me worry
"We were at school then she git kick out soccer and she went home early" I said
"Why did she got kick out of soccer?!?!" She asked me
"Well....... It's a long story but she feels like id she has betray her father" I said
"Tha lake" She said
"What??" I asked
"The lake that's where they used to go almost every single day" She said
"What lake??" I asked
"The "Never leave" lake like a mile away from here" She said
"Thank you" I said
"And Shawn please text me when you find her " She said and I nod.
I jump in my jeep and drive to the lake.
Alex POV
Shawn and Aaliyah has been texting me and calling me but I have ignore them.
" I'm sorry"I whisper over and over.
All of the sudden I feel strong arm around me I knew who it was but just seeing the lake and remember what my dad told me and I told him at the hospital
Flash back. (Lake)
"Alex darling" My father said
"Yeah" I said
"Mommy told me that you broke a promise" he said
"Oops" I said smiling
"Alex you can't broke a promise if you promise something you have to let that happen" He said
"And don't make promises that you can't make those things happen" he said
"Ok my first promise........ I promise I won't say any other promises of I can't make them happen" I said and he hug.
"Promise me you won't leave me" I said
"I promise" He said
End of flashback
Flashback. (Hospital)
"Alex..... I'm so proud of you, you won in soccer" he said laying in a hospital bed fighting for his life
"Please... Don't leave me you promise me you won't leave me" I said as tears start going down my face
" I'm always going to be next to you Alex in your happiest moments in and in your sadest been there for you like I promise" He said
"Alex promise me you won't give up in soccer" he said taking my hand.
"I promise and I want you to be with me to see that I will never give up" I said as he wipes my tears away
" I'm always going to be there in every single game, in every single graduation no matter what" he said
"I promise you I will never give up never" I said as more tears start going down my face.
The machine next to my father's bed start to beep letting know that his heart has stop.
"I promise......" I said as I hug him and cry.
"I promise" I whisper
End of flashback
I close my eyes and letting my tears fall.
"Why Alex you didn't have to" Shawn said
"Hockey is your everything Shawn" I said
"But I hate seeing you like this" Shawn said
"I betray him Shawn I promise him something and I broke it" I said
"Alex this is my fault I shouldn't have done that" Shawn said
"Is not your fault is mine I promise something that I couldn't make that happen" I said remembering me and my father playing here.
"He is proud of you Alex" Shawn said
"He didn't like liars" I said
I close my eyes and I fall asleep.
Shawn POV
She fall asleep I carry her to the passenger seat taking her to my house. I text her mom letting her know I found her.
"I broke my promise" I whisper kissing her cheek
I drive to my house and I took her to my room laying her down in my bed.
I lay down next to her and hug her tight.
