In the cockpit, May and Sanchez were both smiling.

The bus was back by those who it belonged to.

The slingshot

Location: Classified

Time: unknown

It was busy on the bus. A lot of people were repairing the damage. Coulson was controling Lola.

"No scratch," Skye said. "But your plane is total. I hope SHIELD ensure's this as "High-jacking."

"Sure," Coulson replied. "Under incidentals."

Skye laughed a sarcastic laugh.

"What exactly am I signing up for?"

"Like I said. First row places for the craziest show on earth," he smiled.

"Yeah, but I didn't expected the show like this crazy, this fast, or a object that just... could destroy..."

"Slingshot is protocol," Coulson said to her. "A weapon like the 0-8-4 is to dangerous for any person or country to have. People like Reyes would Always be after it."

"What happened with Reyes, anyway?" She asked.

"She's being held at a S.H.I.E.L.D. detainment facility. I expect the Peruvian government will negotiate for her release. She probably won't spend much time in jail," he answered.

"No, I mean what happened with you and Reyes? You guys totally did it back in the day, right?"

Coulson smiled slightly. "That's classified."

A few metres from them, May and Ward were checking the equipment of the bus.

" Looks like Skye might end up as more than just a consultant, despite our reservations. She could turn into a solid asset... with some serious work," Ward said.

"Well, if she wants to be a field agent, she'll need a supervising officer someone disciplined, someone good," May said to him, while looking at Skye. May looked at while for a while.

"All right. I'll do it. Just to clarify, you were, uh, talking about me, right?"

As only answer, May gave him a smile.

"We blew up a plane."

"I had a new expercience."

"Can the both of you shut up please? I don't want to be late for it," Sanchez hissed to Fitzsimmons.

"Be quiet Sanchez!" They both shouted to her. Then, they laughed at her.

"They are happy," May said.

"Hey, come on guys. You all don't want to miss this," Fitz said.

He had a cooler in his hands, and putted him down at the ramp, who was out, because they were on the ground. He started a talk to Simmons about something scientific, while Sanchez started distributing a beer to everyone.

"How many of those have you guys had?" Skye asked.

"Oh, Skye," Simmons said. "It's important, when in the field, to unwind from time to time."

"Yep," Sanchez said, who was sitting next to May on the ramp.

"Yeah, especially after a hard day of everyone almost dying," Fitz smiled.

"And that still happens every day, right?" Simmons said.

"It's normally! And it's a regulary thing. Not the norm..."

She felt quiet when she saw Coulson coming to them.

"Speaking of not the norm, who's idea was it to blow a hole in the plane?"

"Mine!"

Sanchez raised her hand. "It's Always my fault, so-"

"It was everyone's idea, sir," Ward said.

"And pretty genius," Fitz added to it.

"Nice work," Coulson said. Nothing could be seen from his face, but Sanchez knew that he was proud on them all, from the inside.

"All clear for lift off!"

"Oh, time for blast off," Fitz said. "Launching in... 3... 2..."

The rocket that would be lanced from the slingshot, took off to the sky. Fitzsimmons started to explane what the purpose was of the rocket. Ward sighed.

"Guys... In English."

They all looked up at the sky.

Sanchez was the only one who could hear that Skye her Phone vibrated.

Time: Still a bit later

"Really? Really, Coulson? SIX DAYS? It only took you six days to take a completely renovated piece of state-of-the-art machinery and turn it into scrap?!"

Fury had arrived on the plane, and he wasn't very happy. He was pissed, and gave Coulson everything of it.

"My team acted with my authority."

"Authority! Don't talk to me about authority. Do you know how much this plane cost? It got a bar!"

He touched with his hand the bartable.

"A really nice one. Talking to me about authority. You know, I have the authority to downgrade your ass to a Winnebago!"

" I'm aware of that, sir," Coulson replied.

"Well, I want it fixed. Just like you found it. So don't have Fitz- Simmons going making modifications, like a, a damn fish tank."

"Yes, sir."

"Oh Nick, don't be such a bitch to the guy. That's not nice."

Sanchez stood against the wall, and it wasn't necessary for Coulson to be Fitzsimmons, to know that this was a very wrong moment for her to show up. Fury would only be even more pissed.

"And you! Oh, you!" He shouted. "You are goddammit a little bitch from the beginning of time, you-"

"You know that it doesn't work like that, director. There are things I can't do, because of my creators."

"That's the largest crap of bull shit, because I know you Always disobey the rules!"

"That I've become a good girl, that isn't my problem sir," she replied nicely to him.

"Damn it is!" Fury said.

"I haven't brought your ass on this plane for nothing!"

He walked away, but went back to Coulson.

"And the new girl... She's a risk."

"I know sir," Coulson said.

"You know sir."

Fury walked away, again.

"How's Lola?" He asked.

"She's good, sir. Thanks for asking."

While he left the plane, muttering to himself about "authority,"  Coulson grabbed his earphone.

"Yeah, we're going to have to kill the fish tank."
