Hello! I am JaydenSky! This is one of my first real stories and it is a pleasure to me that you chose to read it. I write for my readers and I encourege everyone to read!

"I love him. My little baby boy. His little hands, his little feet. Everything about my son is perfect. His blue eyes shimmer with the water. His dirty blonde hair flowing with the wind. He's only 8 months old but I must let him go. For his protection." Ashley said, while she lay her son in a basket. "He deserves to live a normal life in a normal world. Don't you think so Keith?" Keith nodded, his dirty blonde hair covered one of his blue eyes. He added, "So, he will go to the orphanage, Ashley?" "Yes, it is the safest place for him." She replied firmly, a tear fell down her cheek. "His name is Will. Don't let the orphanage change it, it has a special meaning." Ashley added before disappearing in the water without a trace.

Keith looked at the baby. Will reminded Keith of himself. The blue eyes. The little round nose. Keith didn't want to send the baby to the orphanage but he was only fifteen. How could a fifteen-year-old take care of a baby? He grabbed the basket as the rain slowly started to pour on them. He walked slowly contemplating about his future. Will showed Keith that a baby boy can be one of the best things. All Keith could think about was having a son. Keith snapped back into reality when his nose bumped into the side of the orphanage building. He went around to the steps and set the basket down to the side of the door and lay a note on top of the blanket that read, "I am Will Ray. Born on March 2, 2006. Please take care of me." Keith looked at the baby one last time. Tears streamed down his face lightly. Keith had loved him although it was just his best friend's baby. He walked back home, alone as the rain poured on the slightly cracked road in London, England. Once Keith returned home, he found a note from his parents. The note was written in Chinese because Keith's adopted parents were from China. Keith learned Chinese at a young age so he translated the note, "We will be gone for two days, be safe, food is in the refrigerator. Love you!" Keith set the note back down on the table and went to his room. Alone, Keith lay on his bed dreaming about Will. Something about him was, off. Ashley, Keith's swimmer friend had spent hours swimming it the river. Strange. Keith had never seen her out of the water. She was thirty years old and was a mother now of Will. Keith drifted asleep listening to the low rumble of cars driving slow. He dreamed about his future.
