Opinion:
This was a beautiful book! Honestly, I hadn't thought much about it before I started reading it because how many more original dystopian stories can one come up with? But this was mind-blowing! It touched me deeply and was amazingly written. I love Madeline's character- how strong she is, how she would do anything for her loved ones and the way her character develops throughout the book. I especially loved the idea of selling yourself- metaphorically and literally- in this book. It's thrilling, gripping and made me go crazy but at the same time subtly shed light on human behaviour and world issues. Also, words can't describe how happy I was with the ending, and for me, an ending can literally make or break a book, so it was PERFECT.
