The boy sat alone by the window, staring longingly outside.
His hand reaching out to touch the glass, feeling moisture that had gathered upon the surface.
His fingertip slides across the glass, drawing see-through hearts on the cold surface of the window. Not that they would last long.
He stared at a rain drop slowly inching down the glass of the window, passing through the heart he just drew. He looks out only to see that someone had been waving at him from outside.
The person outside was saying something Rain couldn't make out and seemed to be hiding something behind his back.
The boy shook his head wanting to be alone, but the person outside just walked closer to his window.
T'was was a boy, dripping wet from the rain.
"James! James!" The boy outside called out to him, yet his voice was dulled out by the rain "James Rain!"
Bored of drawing hearts, he pulled on the latch that was keeping the window closed and lifted the thing upwards. The window creaked open as it let the cold air in and the hot air out.
"Come and play with me in the rain, Rain!" The boy said with a grin.
The answer was pretty obvious.
"No thank you, I prefer to be inside." As always.
"Come on!! You're always inside when it's raining-"
"And you're always inside when its not," James cut him off. "Besides, I'm feeling a bit under the weather."
"Pretty please?"
"No." He pulled down the window, slamming it shut, The warmth of the fireplace expelling the cold chills from the rain outside.
The boy outside tapped upon the window, still calling for Rain.
Rain rested his head upon his arm, using the other to draw more hearts upon the moisture of the glass.
The boy outside stopped and stared at him do so, and he pondered for a moment, wondering if James Rain can still see him.
He just finished drawing his sixth heart before noticing a finger trace the one he just drew.
Rain looked at the boy's face through the glass, wondering what was going on in his head, without realizing that the boy was staring at him too.
The boy's finger then drew another heart, not where the others was, but around James Rain's face and he took out the waterproof camera that he took from his father's study.
He had been using them to take pictures whilst it was raining, for it was one of those waterproof ones his father bought.
He pointed it at Rain in a weird angle and...

Rain didn't give a damn until he saw the camera's lens shutter, yet he did not react quick enough.
So he stood up and stormed out the door, forgetting to put on a coat. Rain tried to quickly snatch the camera but the boy was quicker to dodge and run away while he chased after him.
The boy cackled as Rain ran after him, sprinting as if his life depended on it.
Rain caught up to him after a short while, only because the boy slowed down to look back.
He smacked the camera out of the boy's hand and pinned his arms to his chest with one hand and picked up the camera with the other. Pointed it at him, he pressed the button and-
