Creation - My version

part 3

Alright, like I said in chapter two creation had kick started, and in the opinion the four guardians of Earth, they'd done their job sufficiently, but now they had to make sure everything stayed in order. Thought made sure everybody knew what was what and how to do essential things. Life kept on changing and fixing things about her creatures and creations as Thoughts, 'natural order' did the same thing. That kids, is what we now call evolution. Light and Darkness were more focused on physical things, like night and day, making sure plants grew (that was lights job because plants do a little thing called photosynthesis) stuff like that, Darkness was also in charge of the moon. You see the Moon was another one of Space's creations, a step up from asteroids, a step down from planets. The Moon got stuck in Earth's gravitational pull, hence why it spins around us. The four guardians saw no use for it, besides it was making the fuzzy critters panic, so they'd voted to oust it. As Darkness was flying up to blow the moon to smithereens (Darkness could do that cause he's a dragon, an all-powerful being and a dragon, so), But as he was flying over an ocean he realized it was acting funny, there were waves! He went down into the waves and was almost knocked into a reef because of the current, which had never happened before. Darkness asked all the fishes and crabs and other reef critters what was happening, in response they literally yelled "FOOD!" then darkness noticed the current was pushing scraps of seaweed and other such fishy delicacies around the water which aquatic life were consuming with vigor. Darkness was understandably confused, something like this had never happened before, he flew up out of the water and looked around and noticed that the water in that ocean was being pulled ever so slightly towards the moon, making the waves and the currents and such. Darkness described this to the other Guardians, and they all decided to keep the moon around. Thought gave the moon a nicer smoother working consciousness, I know weird. And life made water spirits to make the currents work smoothly, they were in Life's own image, Human girls of different ages, only these ones had blue or green hued skin, some of them had horns or something and they called all turn into water, salt or fresh depending on where they were. These girls were called Naiads; you might recognize the name from Greek mythology. Light kind of sat there and looked pretty though it was his idea to make the moon rotate around Earth so all the Oceans had the same treatment.

All the guardians had a personality and now I'll tell you about Darkness. Darkness could be domineering and scary a little moody on occasion but nothing to be afraid of. He was kind, and could keep a secret, it was the other things that hid within the nights he made and the darkness he gave (darkness not Darkness, the capital makes a difference) that you had cause to fear. So it was also Darkness's job to find those that hid with in his powers and only wished to do harm. You wouldn't think of Darkness as a kind crusader against harmful beings, but he is. It's partly how he noticed how much the moon could help Earth. But even darkness needs a little light every now and again. So next part we're going to go into Darkness's fiery counterpart Light.
