Ashton:

I can’t wait to get our of this place, I think to myself. The time ticks by slowly. Each second feels like a minute, and each minute feels like an hour. My eyes follow the second hand as it makes it’s way around the circumference of the clock at a snail’s pace. Three minutes and twenty four seconds left until I can go. I silently slip my pen into my bag as an excuse to check my phone. A smile makes it’s way into my face when I see that I have a text from Ashton. 2 minutes ago: hey babe, im outside now. right by the front door so i can get you out of here. I smile at his thoughtfulness. Just as I reach up to get my notebook to put away, the bell rings, signaling my release from this place for the day. I rush through the halls to the freedom of the outdoors. I spot Ashton’s car and hop in before he speeds off before the crowd can make it out of the building.

Calum:

I find myself sitting in my last period class, humming a song that I didn’t necessarily recognize. I don’t think I heard it on the radio, and it definitely wasn’t on any playlists that I listen to on my phone. That’s when I realize that it’s a song that Calum had played for me, the one he told me that he wrote for me. I smile, remembering the moment, and continue humming. “Shut up, nobody wants to hear you sing” a low, dull voice comes from behind me. I know who it is; it’s the dumbest jock in the school. I ignore him and flip him off silently and quick enough so that he sees it but the teacher doesn’t. The bell finally rings and I am the first one out the door. I go to my locker and out the nearest door, heading towards my house. It’s a nice day and I had a big lunch so I might as well walk. Just after I cross the main intersection, Calum rides by in his car, stopping right beside me, smirking. “Hop in, babe” he smiles as I climb into the car. It’s a fairly silent ride until I start humming again, and then he eventually joins in; the both of us now humming his song dedicated to me.

Michael:

I step out into the cool breeze of April, only to find Michael’s car parked in front of my school. He sees me and waves, and I smile and wave back. I quicken my pace as he revs his engine. He knows I hate it when he does that, but he loves to do it anyway. Ugh, boys. I go around to the other side of the car and get in. “Michael Gordon, I told you not to do that. It’s embarrassing!” I scold him. All he does is snicker because, being the typical teenage boy he is, he is content with how much he had just annoyed me. When I just sit there and look out the window, he starts to try and get me to talk. “C’mon, Y/N. I won’t do it anymore. Just tell me how school was. Just talk. Pleasee. I miss hearing your voice”. I sigh, shaking my head and giggling at his neediness. “Mikey, it’s literally only been two minutes since I’ve talked to you” I relply. He smirks, laughing as he says, “Ha. You talked. Now it’s only been five seconds (of summer)”. He laughs aloud at his joke for the rest of the ride home. I swear, that boy thinks he is so funny.

Luke:

Let me out. Let me out. Let me out. Let me out. I repeat the words over and over again until they finally come true. I can’t stand the people in this school anymore. It seems as though all they are there for is to make you want to pull your hair out due to their stupidity and obnoxiousness. As always, I’m the first one out of the class, zipping past the guy that had been staring at me the whole period. I grab my jacket from my locker and head out to my car. When I turn the corner to the parking lot, I see my boyfriend, Luke, standing in front of it. “Hey, babe” he says, holding out his hand as I toss him the keys. He gives me a long kiss before opening the door for me and taking my backpack to put in the back seat. I buckle my seat-belt as he gets into the driver’s seat. I love when he surprises me like this. It just takes my mind off of all the crap that I had to endure throughout the day, and the surprise makes me ten times happier.
