"That is true." She nodded her head. "Oh, I never got to say thank you." She said which cause my eyebrows to furrow.

"For?" I asked confused.

"Acting civilized around Alexandria Friday night." Alexandria is Alex one of my girl cousins we used to be close until the incident years ago.

"I only did it because I didn't want to make a scene in front of the family." I could always tell my mom the truth, that is why we are so close.

"Oh, well good acting then. But why can't you two just get over what happened? You used to be so close." And cue my mom thinking that it is easy to forget what she did.

Alexandria ruined a lot and hurt a lot of people, including me, Demi and quite a few others and if it was not for her none of it would have ever happened.

"Mom what she did, I can't forgive. She caused too much damage this time." I replied sighing.

"Okay I understand but try and be the better person." There she goes talking about being the better person.

"That's all we can do, mom. Is try." I mumbled as I finished my smoothie.

"That's true." She smiled at me.

I took my phone out to look at the time and saw that if I didn't leave in the next five minutes I will be late.

"Mom, as much as I am loving this conversation, if I don't leave now I will be late." I kissed my mom's cheek and grabbed my bag and MY car keys. That's right my mom and dad pulled through on their promise and bought me a car, my choice of course.

"By my angel good luck and I hope you enjoy your first day of school." She said.

I hugged her and walked way.

I was almost at the door when I yelled, "Bye mom love you!"

"Bye love you too."

I walked out the door and made my way to the garage. I opened the garage door and made my way over to my car.

I opened the door of my black and gold Ford Mustang GTS. I started the car and let out I sigh of happiness when I heard it roar to life. I pressed the button on my remote to make the garage door open and raced out of there.

Once I was on the road I allowed myself to enjoy the ride to school, to embrace the power of the V12 engine and the speed of the car.

I drove for about five minutes until the school came into view.

Yay I have finally arrived at the hell hole.

I pulled into the parking lot and noticed that I was getting a lot of attention from the other students, I thank my lucky stars that my windows are tinted.

I drove around until I found a parking spot and looks like today is my lucky day because it was close to the entrance.

Taking a deep breath to cool my nerves a bit, I took my bag off the passenger seat and opened my door.

When I closed my door and looked around I noticed quite a few people staring at me. Now I don't mind attention but really, have you not ever seen a girl get out of a Mustang before?

I shook my head at the people staring and made my way to the office so I could get this day started with so it can end quicker.

Once I was in the office I made my way to the receptionist.

"Good morning ma'am." I smiled a her.

"Morning, how may I help you?" She returned my smile.

She had shoulder length brown hair cut into a neat bob, she had light brown eyes that were framed by a pair of glasses. She seems to be in her mid twenties. She was actually very pretty if she was a little more confident and also if she wore more fashionable clothing, now I am not saying that she looks terrible but she could rather wear a stylish dress up shirt rather than a faded blouse that is two sizes to big.
