Three Different Points But One Main Fouce

Chapter 2

Sky POV

I enter my room and continue packing. I kept aside the clothes I would be wearing home today. I had to choose comfortable clothes because I have a three hour flight back home.

I was busy packing all my photos and small things away when I came across three different photos. The one was a family photo taken a week before I left. It was me in the middle, my mom on the right and my dad on the left and last but not least my brother behind me. I have not seen Zack in four years we always lived past each other. So I wonder what is going to happen between us, I mean we were never close or anything and he was three years older than me so I am curious to see what happens.

The second picture was of me, Lily and Roman. It was a picture taken on Lily's and Romans birthdays, yes they are born on the same day. It was when they turned thirteen years old, I was two months older than them both. I will never forget that day the events that happened were never portrayed in the photo. On that day is the day I decided to start distancing myself from them. You see I had a tiny crush on Roman but I knew he liked Lily and Lily like him, they had more in common and they seemed closer to each other than I was to either to them. And so I guess with me moving out the state two days later and all, it made it easier to leave without having to confront my feelings.

I wonder to myself while looking at the photo, How do they look now? Are they finally dating? Will they be excited to see me or not?

They don't know that I am coming back today or that I will be finishing my senior year with them. But one thing that was stuck in my mind was did they change as much as I did? To be honest they were both well built and good looking, so I wander if anything has changed.

The last photo is with the one person I will never forget and never stop being friends with, Demi. When you first look at Demi and I you won't think we would be friends. I mean because she has got this shoulder length brown hair and the blue eyes, where I have long blonde hair that ends just before my bum and green eyes. She has this quite, keeps to herself personality and likes her comfort zone, where I am bubbly, out going and live for adventure. The picture was taken in the beginning of the year. We were both at the pool and just like everything else it was an inappropriate time and we were breaking the rules once again. So we decided that we were not in the mood for class so we bunk'd and went to the pool area. We were talking and having fun when a girl to the photo, when we asked her why she took it she just said that she want to capture a picture of true friendship.

Those are the three photos that show that change has occurred and how good it actually is. Like in the first two I was short, fat and ugly plus I was shy and I avoided any human contact. Where as in the last one you see a completely different person, I am now skinny but built, like an athlete, I am now average height and I have grown into my fat face and matured into a young lady and my personality did a 360, I am outgoing, adventurous, bubbly and enjoy human contact. So I guess change has done me well there.

As I put my photos in my bag I realised that this change is going to be the hardest for me. I am not going to see Demi everyday but luckily she is only a forty-five minute drive away so I will go to every weekend or she can come to me, either way I am going to see my BFF. 

I zipped up my bag and took the clothes I left out to the bathroom with me.

I took a quick shower and got dressed. I decided on a white, plain puma shirt with black sissy boy jeans and a pair of black and white adidas superstars. Plain and simple but most importantly comfortable.
